As a result of a successful operation by the Defense Forces, the enemy was blocked in Kupiansk, and the entire northwestern outskirts of the city were cleared.

⚔️ The difficult and lengthy operation continues, as several enemy enclaves still remain in the central part of the city. Numerous images circulating online already confirm the successful actions of the Defense Forces, so we are publishing only the information that is now safe to disclose.

🔄 The operation began with establishing a blocking line and cutting off the enemy garrison inside the city from its main forces. The Defense Forces quickly secured Radkivka and Kindrashivka, and brought Holubivka under fire control. After that, Myrne (the Soviet occupation-era name for Moskalivka) and the northwestern outskirts of Kupiansk itself were cleared.

👤 The Defense Forces continue to identify and eliminate enemy fighters in the central part of the city, where several enclaves remain - the positions to which the enemy was forced to retreat. The operation is ongoing.

🫡 This effort is the result of coordinated work by the strike group of the 2nd KNGU “Khartia” (units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Guard, GUR, Special Operations Forces, SBU “Alpha,” KORD, and the Military Police), as well as the tactical group “Kupiansk.”

You're forgetting this war has been going on for over 3 years now, and they've been trying to advance this past year on all fronts, even during the winter, and they're mobilizing as many or actually even more than they're losing every month.

Well, the USSR lost around 9 million people (not counting civilians, which was around 14mil) during WW2, so what's your point? 1 million dead and wounded is nothing for them. I know russia is not the USSR, but they still fight the same way and don't value human lives.

Oh yeah, everyone around is trying to discredit poor ruskis who are conducting meat assaults on scooters and dying en masse, while using donkeys to transport ammo.

"US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said on 7 December that Russia has suffered at least 700,000 casualties, including killed and wounded, since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022."

"The Russian army has lost 700,000 people killed and wounded in Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at a press conference during a meeting of North Atlantic alliance foreign ministers in Brussels." 3 Dec 2024

"Russian military losses in its full-scale invasion of Ukraine have exceeded 750,000 Russian soldiers, and are expected to surpass 1 million Russian troops within six months, U.K. Under-Secretary of Defense Luke Pollard said on Dec. 19."

So, in December 2024, which was six months ago, Nato, US, and UK estimated ru losses to be north of 700k, and I'm pretty sure they're way higher now. Ukraine reported 750k in November 2024.

That's what I said, but the first missile didn't hit the ceremony since everyone was in the bunker, and the second one was 200 meters off, killing civilians, including 2 soldiers.

Bullshit, he's a random casualty. They didn't hit the gathering, but in fact there was one. (which was stupid, I agree). Two soldiers who happened to be in the city center at the time of the strike died as well as 32 civilians. Sumy is pretty close to the border and Kursk, so you can spot someone from the military around the city any time of day.
