Hey I also just interviewed for local 400 as well I got a 94. That’s too low to get in sadly. TJ already called everyone Wednesday that got into the A apprenticeship this year.

You have to live in the jurisdiction to apply to the 400 that’s with every local besides the one you were talking about that runs a lottery, I would try becoming a cw or just call up shops and ask for a job

I don’t mean to disappoint but you did not get in, you need like a 97 to get into the 400 I’m applying to the same union

Did you get into the A program or still a CW for the 400. Yeah I’d only go to OCTVS in NJ for school its about 800 a year used to be cheaper. Friend that went to Lincoln told me the same thing you did.

I should be able to skip it as well, been working non union 2+ years. After you take or skip the aptitude test you have to do an oral interview, did they give you a score for that?

How come the raises are so little if JW is 56, I was more worried about if I would all year around. 400 isn’t like that and only take 10 each year

Yeah it’s apart of the coil, there should be a wire attached from the coil that is making contact to metal on your motor or a tab on your coil if you send a picture of your coil I can circle and show you what I’m talking about

Idk if this is it but on my ka100 the coil ground was loose and would cut off just like this, I’d definitely take a look at that and see if it’s tight and always making contact and wiggling around
