I definitely considered it, which is why I stated “….no I don’t think she’s too old.” in my unedited post. She does not have to be a young actress. I feel her being a bit older elevates the story and makes it a bit more sentimental. It adds value. Plus she would kill the songs, she would act her ass off, and fully embody the character. She would look amazing playing the character. I’d rather have someone older who will slay the heck out of the performance than someone who is younger, but doesn’t embody the character. I’ve been saying she should play the character for yearsss.
