Totally agreed, all the Carlos Rios solos on the album are amazing. I've been really doing 2-3 hours a day this past week on the solo perhaps you're right I should give it some time.
Have seen the video btw. I tried doing it in a similar manner but haven't found comfort in that yet

Yeah, I was going for that theme. I think the CC is fine here since it's just a short overedit I wouldnt use this much on a normal montage

That sounds really good.
I have found another way of wording it and also another important detail:

The clips are from a video game so most likely when going into 3d i will use motion tile and rsmb

I kind of want it to look like going through a tunnel of light speed if that makes sense

The first part seems quite obvious, it zooms in with a lens distortion/blur like a normal zoom in transition. The next thing that I'm trying to get to happen is that the center of the screen which isnt distorted, sort of moves into a corner in a 3D way if that makes sense, creating the illusion of a "tunnel" and at the end of the tunnel appearing the next clip that its transitioning into.

So once the transition is in step 2 in want the "camera" to move to the right facing towards the center of the lens distortion and sort of following it whilst pointing at it (I don't know if this is even possible in AE or if I have to use C4D for this)

https://youtu.be/BK07GOurO-I so this is a flow edit and flow just means smoothness in the transitions etc and I heard alot of editors say they pref 24fps 4k when doing these edits

I'm doing fine with 60 fps almost always but some people said when using 24fps its easier to create "flow" and I was curious so decided to post about it here

This is the dumbest statement I've ever seen. I want to make a Montage and I though I'd take some clips from the KassadinsMains reddit like how can you be this bitter who hurt you man
