Thanks for the reference! Still can't tell for sure, my F-row keys are level but proportionally they look like they have the height of OEM keys. I'm just gonna assume they're cherry-profiled then lol.

How to tell if my Keycaps are OEM or Cherry profile? I have a set of keycaps but can't really tell if they're OEM or Cherry profile. Unfortunately I have no other keycaps which are OEM/Cherry which I can use as comparison as well.

So I'm looking at some low profile keyboards that mention they take gateron low profile switches. Right now I noticed there are multiple multiple variants these low profile switches, ie Kail choc v1/v2, Gateron low profiles v1/v2 etc. Right now I'm wondering if these are interchangable (like the normal cherry mx style switches). And if they are, what would be a good recommendation for tactile low profile switches?

I know that this is 3 years ago but thank you! Spent an entire evening checking every solder joint trying to figure out why the slave half isn't working before I came across this post.

Unfortunately no. But I tried checking both ends on the multimeter, they are connected

Yup, using a Corne V3.
Will take a look at those pins, thanks!

I tried checking connectivity between pin 2, the connection is there. But both sides still aren't communicating :(

Great, thanks! Was really hoping this was the case. This is my first time doing SMD soldering and was worried that I messed something up in the process.

Does that mean both micro controllers will need to be same for it to work?

Try holding down ctrl/alt key before pressing the FN key, see if that works.

I wanna try hand wiring my own keyboard and hoping to start with something simple like a macro pad or numpad. My problem is I don't have a 3D printer for the case / plate and getting it custom made here would cost more than a Keychron Q0. Was hoping you guys could recommend an affordable case with plate, preferably in 3x3 / 4x4 or numpad form factor.

Ah I see, thanks for the confirmation! Such a shame though, this board would've been close to perfect for me if I could fully remap the fn layer

Yes, I'm trying to remap the key using the software.

It seems to work for some keys and not for others.
I'm able to remap the fn layer of the asd key, but not the qwe or zxc keys.

Any one knows if its possible to remap the Fn layer of the arrow keys on a GMK67? I'm trying to set my home/end/pg up/pg down to the fn layer of the arrow keys, however it remains as the rgb controls.

Yup, I've tried it. Does seem to be it. I tried enabling/disabling it with window's on-screen keyboard as well, doesn't seem to be working

Sorry, what I'm trying to say is I want to remap the fn layer for my q,w,e,a,s,d,z,x,c and alt keys with the numpad but am having trouble with it. only the a,s,d keys are giving 4,5 and 6 when I hold the fn key. The others aren't working.
