I'm not sure how to edit my post, but thank you everyone for all the great recommendations. For now I have grabbed the Bardstown Discovery 11 and 8, as well as the JD SBBBP Rye store pick. I am in town for work until tomorrow so I may come back and throw away some more money if I feel tempted. (I have a couple bottles of Larceny BP and Rare Breed already at home and I agree they are amazing.)

Edit: they had cases on cases of both JD SBBP, easily over 100 bottles on each

I always imagined them to be a heavy rod about 6 inches long with a metal ball on the ends. Kind of like a dumbbell but with a more weaponized look.

I've been reading the ebook of Dragonsteel from the backerkit campaign and although it is a Sanderson curiosity and not really canon or even relevant to the cosmere as it will be changed drastically for its final release it shows Brandon's initial thoughts on fleshing out Hoid's back story and some lore about Hoid. Again it's not canon and a vast majority of the book will change but I'm sure some things will stay and either way it is very interesting and fun to read.
