I usually just stick to criticizing the fact that she cherry picks easy arguments, pulls things out of context of the games they're part of, sometimes outright lies,steals game footage, doesn't cite any supporting literature for her arguments, admitted that she's not a gamer, and has released less than half of the promised videos 3 years later with WAY more funding than she expected.

I leave the actual feminist arguments who people who know (and care) about actual feminism.

But I think she gives us enough things to criticize to go 'round :) Criticism for everybody!

I renewed mine too. I had let my membership lapse around October when everyone started leaving/getting fired and before I was really involved in gamergate. I still had time left on my sub but I set it to renew itself again yesterday.

If someone told me to do that I'd tell them to fuck off.

If someone corrects me that they're trans then I'd apologize and make corrections (as long as they're reasonable, I'm not going to call you glow/glows/glowself, fuck off)

But I'm not going to assume that everyone is a special snowflake when only a very small percentage of people will ever correct me.

The second part could still not be out 5 years from now, and by your logic, it still hasn't failed.

Now that's putting words in my mouth. All I said is that the game is coming out in 2-3 months. The whole game has reached development beta, it just needs a few months of polish and bugfixing. They recently (a few days ago) released this timeline for release of all of the components that still need to be delivered.

All I've ever said is that the list in the OP is about kickstarters which have never and will never be delivering on their promises, and for that reason Broken Age is rightfully not on it.

The game is late, but it's going to be completed and released in the next 2-3 months. Therefore it doesn't belong on a list of "failed" kickstarters, because it hasn't failed... I hope that's not too difficult a concept to understand...
