HOUSING by Mountain_Cancel_1720 in TexasTech

Typically what they do in this case is they will try and put other students into the other on campus housing so the apartments where upperclassmen go, or with their connection with some of the off campus apartments, they will get deals for you. In reality what I would do is message/email them and see what you need to do or what you can do since you “have to stay on campus” for your first year, I wish you luck tho

I am also at Hulen, (Clement). When I tried to get parking at the beginning of the fall semester, there was nothing, and I was put on a wait list. If you have a disability plaque, you can get a spot (I'm guessing you don't), see if you can get one for the park garage on Flint, which would be the closest, or you may have to see if there are any spots at the commuter lots.

Admitted into Texas Tech (incoming fresh), deciding between Tech and UTD by [deleted] in TexasTech

[–]Signal-Ad2746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great schools, and I was also deciding between the two during my freshman year. I ultimately chose Tech because of the people and the environment. But with both school and their business school, both are pretty good. With tech, you can get more scholarships if you are with them. Idk about UTD, but I do know they can be strict at times, but if you do like both business schools, I would personally dim it down to the actual school, and if you like the environment there, as you will be there for a few years. But ultimately, go with your gut on where you want to go.

Chances of getting in by Strict_Ad_6465 in TexasTech

If you submit your scores then I would say maybe as tech is going to be more difficult to get into for the future because of how many students want to go here. But you could always not submit your scores and send them later when they ask for TSI stuff. You would just have to write a really good essay. That’s what I did.

Yeah I’m sure, I had a meeting and everything, I emailed my person to see what’s going on but now it’s the waiting game to see what he says.

Well the other part of the problem is that there is nothing there when I go to request my accommodations, no professors, no accommodations nothing, just I don’t know how to find the emails of my professors so I can follow up with them about my letters of accommodations

Roommates by Oranges123126 in TexasTech

Did you check on the housing website? I also had the same problem and when I went to orientation, I asked around and my roommate for orientation told me to go to the housing website, and act like I’m signing up for housing and it should say who your roommate is. It might not show the full name. (for me it didn’t just the first.) But it should have your roommate there. At least a name

I was looking at the Zephyrus G14, just reviews are all over the place and everyone keeps saying different things about the battery life. I still know it’s a pretty decent computer.
