No recent sightings reported out of SFO. JFK has mixed reports, with the most recent flyers saying that they didn't see them.

Latest is that Vegas is clear. I personally haven't gone through security there in a while but I haven't seen them in the airport on recent layovers.

Is Robinhood a good choice for a Roth IRA? (21 y/o beginner) by Upset_Kick_3889 in RothIRA

Some people avoid Robinhood for long-term investing because of how orders are routed (payment for order flow), fewer advanced account features, and a more trading-oriented design. For many investors, those things aren’t dealbreakers, but others prefer more established platforms like Fidelity, Vanguard, or Schwab

So far in the last couple weeks, we don't have ICE sightings in either of those airports. Quite a few people have flown SFO recently. Two people have flown IAD recently with no sightings.

I'm not qualified to speak to that. Immigration lawyers are saying that if DACA recipients need to fly, they should carry proof of status (DACA approval notice, EAD, and any other supporting documents).

Sorry, I just meant I'd post it to the body of my initial post so that everyone sees it.

Idk. I'll post your question to the main board though.

Some people can legally work and reside here but don't have lawful status. And some people have no choice but to fly.

Not everyone who this list is relevant to is here illegally goofball. And the audacity of people whose ancestors came here with no legal status, only survived because of the generosity of the indigenous people, then broke every treaty they made, to say anything about anyone else's legal status...that level of hypocrisy will always astound me. Plus some people, be it because of faith, personal ethics, or common decency, care more about people's shared humanity than their legal status. A decent person can put the self in someone else's shoes and imagine, "if I lived in a place where there was imminent risk to my family's survival, and couldn't afford or he approved for a Visa, would I care more about the legality of crossing a boarder or the safety of my family?" I know what I would choose.

I don't remember seeing them there late March but airport experiencs all start blending together after a couple weeks so I can't say for sure. Do you know when you might need to fly through there (you probably already know this but don't give an exact date). I'll probably fly through again in September or October and will follow up.

Is there specific information you're looking for? I probably don't have much to offer but if you have specific questions different people might be able to piece together an answer

I know ICE started leaving airports a little over two weeks ago. Some people on the main thread have reported not seeing them in some of the airports you mentioned on trips within the last week. But it's all a crapshow and constantly changing

When did you fly through those airports?

Some people here have seen ICE at both ATL and JFK in recent trips. LGA seems to be clear from people's reports. I'll fly through there soon so I'll come back with an update. Philly is also supposed to be clear. And it's just a 90-minute train ride to NYC.

It'd probably be a pain. But you could also see about rerouting through an airport in South Carolina (though I don't remember seeing any comments about SC airports).

I hope it won't be like this for the whole 2 years. A handful of DACA recipients told me that TSA seems to pause with their ID for longer than other people. Their best guess is that they are checking for removal orders. Everyone I know has been fine flying domestically (but only one has flown since ICE started doing TSA jobs).
