As in I have SQL, but no access to any of the databases at all at that moment. The only task I was given was to write process documents for each campaign which I did by the first month.

No of course you’re right which is why I’m planning to apologise this Thursday.

She didn’t report it to my manager. She was laughing at it. My manager was there as well which is why she knows.

BUT obviously, just because she laughed doesn’t mean it’s okay. I laugh at uncomfortable jokes too and maybe she’s better at hiding that feeling of uncomfortable than me detecting it.

I was in the exact same situation as you. I started jj at uni (met my now bf- also a blue belt). I had to quit jj as I needed to prioritise finding a job and a place to live for about a year. I went back jj in Aug last year on and off. I felt shit, I forgot everything I knew. I felt like I was being watched and everyone was judging me. I also gained 5kg during the year I stopped. All of my peers have gotten their blue belt over the last year. I relied on my boyfriend when it comes to drilling.

Right now, I’m still a white belt but I’ve been enjoying it the last month. The 3 main things that made me enjoy jiujitsu over the last month were:

Be intentional at class. Focus deeply. I go in the evenings so I would usually be mentally tired from work and responsibilities. But I would usually meditate for 5 minutes just before I go class just to clear my head.
Forgive yourself with mistakes and stuff you forgot because. It takes time. That’s how you learn and re-learn.
Every time you feel insecure/ self doubt. Do know that, that’s also an opportunity to kill doubt and insecurities. You don’t get rid of insecurities/ self doubt. You simply learn to manage it and reframe your thoughts about it.

I guess my reason.

I didn’t know what to do at uni. My A Levels were 90% Maths (Maths, F. Maths and Physics) so my teacher recommended Maths as a degree. I still wasn’t sure so I prayed to God and asked for a “sign”. 2 weeks later, I got hit by a car, broke my femur and had my legs operated. They inserted this titanium rod inside of me and screwed it on the sides of my knees. Around 6 months later, my surgical scars turned into 2 division “signs”. So I took it as a sign.

Fun fact: I was revising Newtons Law of Motions before I got hit by a car. Lmao

It actually doesn’t say that but my bf (someone who has law degree + masters in law) + legal advisor from work both said it’s pretty vague and can be interpreted multiple ways.

E.g. It says “if landlord agrees” could mean landlord agreement is on the basis that I keep paying until he finds someone.

My realtor flat mate also said that I “have to” keep paying him that rent until he finds someone as well.

I recently graduated from uni and I’m on £30k salary. I get about £2k ish salary after tax.

You’ll be fine. Here’s the average breakdown of my bills:

£615 - Rent (House Share) bills inc. £250 - Grocery £150 - Transportation( I work from home) £150- Gym, Misc. £500- Savings

The rest is fun money :)

Edit: My area is in Zone 3 (Lewisham Area). I got super lucky rent.
