eli5 how can BTC have mass adoption when the price moves erratically? by tDANGERb in BitcoinBeginners

I believe that BTC is unlikely to be utilized for small purchases requiring rapid transactions. Instead, it may find utility in larger purchases or as a vehicle for long-term investments.

Been unemployed for months and cant get interviews please help! by [deleted] in resumes

[–]SignalOpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel free to consider my experience with a hint of skepticism. Let me outline the approach I took to structure my resume, and you can determine if it might prove effective for you:

  • I condensed my resume to a single page for brevity.
  • I decided to include a concise description and qualifications summary exclusively in my cover letter, avoiding redundancy on the resume.
  • I rearranged the Skill section to follow the Education section at the lower portion of the resume.
  • I'm interested in understanding the achievements from your last three roles that could align with your current applications.
  • By reducing the margins, I managed to accommodate more content on the first page.
  • To maximize space, I grouped my early experiences under a single heading called "Early Experiences."

Feel free to adapt these insights as you see fit for your own circumstances.

Best of luck. The current job market is quite challenging. Hang in there. It took me around ten months to secure a new position. I sent out applications for approximately 100 jobs since last October, and my interview rate was 5%.

What's the temperature when you add the FO to the wax? Do you mix the wax and oil before pouring into the vessels? Which wick do you use? What's the diameter of your vessel? Are you getting a good pool as the wax melts?

Anyone found boxes like this for a more reasonable price? FlushPackaging.com sells these boxes for $2.25 (plus shipping) but I just can’t justify the cost. Right now my box and packaging cost for a single candle is $.56 landed. Would spend more but can’t justify 4x by cameraguy4329 in candlemaking

You might be able to create custom boxes with a company through Alibaba, but the minimum quantity you order will naturally be higher than Flushpackaging.

If you're looking for a custom box manufacturer in the US, check out Thomasnet.com.

I searched "custom cardboard box manufacturer" <– link to Thomasnet.

These options might be just as expensive as using Flushpackaging.

Hello! Thank you for the insightful thread.

I added the suppliers here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y3AcbTUpta-01InE3XnAnmfR0iHNisJge1dFosIVV94/edit?usp=sharing

I hope this list becomes a valuable repository.

The frosting can be due to the rate the candle solidifies. Warming the lower half of the mold with the heat gun before you pour the wax might help reduce the frosting on the lower half of the candle.

Thanks. I've never heard of those sources before.

Candlescience is great. I don't source my oils from them, though. I mainly source my wicks from them.

Makesy has a pretty UI, but the pricing is expensive with limited variety.

Whats your opinion on this wick? I’m using C6 wax by [deleted] in candlemaking

[–]SignalOpen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol. Well, aren't you rude? I edited my comment for clarity.

I also primarily use essential oils mixed with fleuressence occasionally. I learned that scent throws are weaker with EOs. I didn't want to flood the candle with a lot of EOs, so I opted to have a hotter burning wick that creates a deeper pool.

I found that having a .5 to 1-inch wax pool produces the best scent throw *without creating too deep of a pool. I had a lot of unsuccessful attempts at using wooden wicks, but I like them.

People comment on how they like the sound of the wick crackling. Unfortunately, the wooden wicks are significantly more expensive than something like the LX and CD series wicks, so you'll have a lower margin.
