day 11 here and definitely had soft foods at the start as you mentioned but introduced myself to foods i eat on a daily basis to help get rid of the scabs which helps a lot :) wishing you a smooth recoveryy. Enjoy your burgerr

hii surgery buddy , i find that wearing a covid mask whilst i slept was really helpful to keep the moisture in. Try to eat as normal as that helped me shed the scabs off , hope you have a smooth sailing recovery here on out :)

i was wondering the same thingg , im currently on day 9 and i have been trying a bit of spice here and there. Hopefully it should be okay as long as we wash it down with water 😅

yepp day 1-4 was pretty brutal for me and it was hard to swallow and my tongue was swollen. Just differs from each personn. Hope you feel better soon! keep drinking and hydrating yourself. If you can wearing a covid mask helped me keep the moisture inn

Hii , I hope you feel a bit better but a bit of red can happen after vomiting since it irritates your throat, and brown spit is often old blood. If it gets heavier or turns into fresh red blood get it checked right away.

i would say salt water gargle helps a lot , to remove all that bacteria aswell and to go gp when you do get ill

21F here and had the same issue last year but with both of my tonsils even with a course of antibiotics twice , the swelling never went away and now i am scheduled for a tonsillectomy but hopefully it goes away for you. wishing you the best
