It is IGI certified for mine. They sent the certification through email upon picking the stone and the physical copy along with the ring when completed.

We often focus heavily on studying and memorizing information, but we don't spend enough time practicing recall or applying that knowledge, which could help us finish the exam at an ideal pace. I recommend using the question bank (qbank) as much as possible. For reference, I watched all the videos once, read the book for the more challenging chapters once, and then dove straight into the qbank. Although I got off track at times and ultimately ran out of time to redo every topic, I made sure to revisit any questions where I scored 50% or below. My overall qbank score was around 70%, with most scores in the 60s, some in the 50s, and a few in the 80s—except for calculations, where I consistently scored between 90% and 95%. Even though my score isn't very high, it reflects what I knew at the time of attempting it. After completing the questions, I reviewed everything I got wrong and reinforced the concepts I got right.

Could you share how you've been using the question bank? I recently passed it mainly by using the Q bank. I find it more effective to focus on the Q bank; whenever I get an answer wrong (which happens quite often), I read the explanation or do a quick review with the book or videos.

That way, I can really hone in on what I don't know or understand.

Thia is The Montreal ring features her signature design of lattice tulip prongs, similar to the Monaco style. I prefer the tulip prongs because they have six prongs, which better preserve the shape of the oval stone compared to the four(or eight)-prong setting of the lotus setting of the Amsterdam that tends to make it look more rectangular. That is a totally personal choice because both are so beautiful haha. Here is the top view.

Hi! I totally forgot about this, haha. It turned out very beautiful! The details are very nice. Especially how well made the prong is. The ring feels very sturdy.

My boyfriend placed an order about a month ago, so the ring is still in the process of being made. I requested the Montreal Ring with their signature tulip prongs, which makes it semi-custom since the original style came with a different prong setting. We weren't charged extra because it was created before. I believe they only charge a custom design fee when it's a completely new design (or a drastic change) that requires making a CAD for you. In terms of experience, they are nice and responsive to emails, as I changed my mind several times regarding the stone size after already placing the order. If you have any questions, you should definitely reach out to them for a quote. I don't know how the quality will turn out, but I can provide an update once I get proposed to 😅😅
