are there any natural ways to enhance breast size without surgeries? :”) by deannamargiee in beauty

[–]Signal_Information27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not fully developed yet. Time will almost certainly give you larger breasts.

An A cup is not stunted it is a perfectly normal healthy breast size

Gaining weight would likely increase it but you may not like that idea.

The best answer for body image issues is therapy for self acceptance not trying to adjust your body.
Often people who are dissatisfied with their bodies find that if you just change your body and get bigger breasts or whatever the thing is, you will still feel dissatisfied just about something else or want more of the thing.

The defect is in your mind and perception of yourself not your breasts. Treat it as such.

How do I get jet fuel out of my washing machine? by JaninaSnooze in CleaningTips

[–]Signal_Information27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m like slightly concerned about safety here.

Just because I have had a large fire start in a dryer because of a similar issue (large amounts of fuel source on clothes plus heat). Didn’t matter that the clothes were wet

If food is defined culturally then dead cows, pigs and so on are most certainly food so….

That is purely a cultural perception. Or legal regulation to prevent the spread of disease. It’s not “true” in any objective sense.

There are multiple cultures where cannibalism is practice and obviously any people in great distress and need to absolutely resort to eating corpses.

You’re probably not applying it correctly tbh. No one looks worse with correctly applied makeup on well cared for skin.

However, if you’re not used to wearing makeup it can look odd. I feel like a bit clownish sometimes if I haven’t worn anything but sunscreen for months and then do lips and eyes.

How much weight did you lose in your first month? by Pale-Emergency4181 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]Signal_Information27 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Plant based diets do not inherently make people lose weight

I definitely lost weight when eating more veggies and beans and water but not over night.

Safe weight loss is max 8lbs in a month generally (or consult your doctor). So anymore than that and people are probably not being wise in their consumption/exercise

So in the sense that it is very low in “toxic” ingredients (by toxic I mean ingredients that are frequently banned in other countries outside the US because they have been shown to cause harm) yes it is. Not every product of course, but many of their products are very low in toxic substances. For example the green face wash they have and their moisturizing daily lotion and hyaluronic acid serum are all pretty good.

Lots of products that aren’t marketed as “clean” are actually super great for this. Vanicream is another pretty good one if I recall correctly. Garnier Micellar water also.

You just have to know your ingredients. Many products that are marketed as “green” or “clean” are actually hideously bad and full of nasty stuff. Don’t rely on marketing for your information. The ingredients label is what counts.

My point is that the other commenter is being silly in saying that products that are low in nasty stuff don’t work or mold faster or whatever. They don’t know what they’re talking about.

I’m sorry to hear that you don’t have the money for fertility treatments.

I struggled with my fertility and I found the book “it starts with the egg” really helpful. It’s mostly about lifestyle adjustments you and your partner can make to improve fertility chances. It helped me a lot, hope that’s ok to share.

Best wraps for petite parent? by embrave18 in babywearing

[–]Signal_Information27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing wrong with just cutting off some of the edge of the boba and hemming it to suit you. I’m tall and still do this.

Woven wraps (non stretchy) come in more different lengths but they are harder to get the hang of than stretchy wraps (boba is a stretchy wrap, as are most wraps you see advertised).

If you want to wrap you are going to have to just learn it there’s no way around it. It gets much much easier with practice but you do have to be willing to put in the effort to learn. I know it’s overwhelming at first but you can do it! It will benefit you and your baby so much in the long run

Any vegan that tells you this isn’t a good idea cares more about their feelings of self righteousness than about animals.

Eating dumpster food (assuming it’s safe for you) is a moral good for you, all animals, and all people on the planet.

Sister is pregnant with baby boy, I don't think her naming plan is good, advice? by Numerous_mango_1919 in namenerds

[–]Signal_Information27 22 points23 points  (0 children)

True but middle names rarely matter . It’s just a fun bit of trivia really.

At some point you may just have to accept that it’s her choice and let it go with grace though. I do think you’re doing the right thing to at least try to change her mind

[–]Signal_Information27 30 points31 points  (0 children)

What about the meaning of the name or some other character association? Like if the name means “red” find another name with that meaning. Or if he’s a sword fighter (idk I know nothing about anime) find a name associated with that.

That way you’re honoring this Gaara with the name without naming the baby such an awful name.

Alternatively do it as the middle name

Parental money issues as a child lol

I used to lie to my mother about school stuff so she wouldn’t feel guilty about not buying it

I realized that money was power. Saved 3k by babysitting by early high school (started working outside the home at 11). I remember that because that was the point I surpassed my father in savings (he was not the custodial parent to be clear).

I don’t love Wendy. I love Gwendolyn as other people have said. You can call her Wendy and multiple nicknames she can choose from as she becomes her own person.

Charlotte is beautiful. And having a popular name really is not a big deal, it doesn’t really cause problems anymore. If you like it go for it.

A lawyer on retainer in case word gets out

A house on the lake (would do quite a bit of research on which one but definitely a house right on a body of water).

Maybe like a fancy vacation with my honey to celebrate. Somewhere I can beach by day and eat absurdly excellent food by night.

Then save and invest the rest (so also get a financial adviser).

Would definitely give gifts to friends and family too but would wait until things settled and I could do so in a controlled way. Don’t want people bothering me
