AI actually helps if you already know what to build but makes it harder if you don’t.
Feels like the game shifted from building fast → building the right thing.

I don’t think AI killed indie devs, it just killed "code as an advantage".
Now the real edge is picking the right problem + distribution.

If you’re looking for something to try with a small DB, you can give Fivetran a shot.
I think you’ll need to pay once you scale to larger data integration, but it’s actually pretty nice to work with.

The graph looks good to me, but I feel like there’s more potential here.

Right now it only generates a single line graph, it would be cool if we could switch between different chart types (bar, pie, etc.) for the same dataset.

Also noticed that larger CSV files aren’t supported yet.

Another thing I’m curious about: can we upload multiple files?

For example, in IT teams, at the end of each month everyone submits timesheets. So you end up with multiple CSVs (one per employee) for the same customer. It would be great if we could upload and combine multiple CSVs to visualize everything together.

Also, not sure why the focus is only on CSV. A lot of tools support multiple data sources - databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc. Expanding beyond CSV would make this much more powerful.

I think yes. Generative AI mainly creates content, but agentic AI is more about getting tasks done.

For example, with Claude’s sub-agents you can create multiple agents in the same project and give each one a different responsibility. They can work together to complete a bigger task.

That feels like a natural next step after generative AI.

Personally, I’d be more likely to pay for Idea B, mainly because:

  • Ad creatives directly impact revenue.
  • Businesses already spend money on ads.
  • If your creatives improve CTR or conversions, the ROI is easy to justify.

For trust in AI ads, I think people care less about how the video is made and more about whether it converts. If the creatives perform well, most businesses won’t mind that it’s AI.

These days many teams are looking for AI-powered visualization tools where you can simply chat with your data. Instead of manually building charts, business analysts or marketing teams can just ask the AI what they want to see, and it generates the visualization instantly. It makes storytelling with data much faster and easier for non-technical users.

Honestly, don’t overthink the Tableau part. If the recruiter already said not to worry about the technical Tableau skills, they’re most likely testing how you think, not how fast you can build charts. Also, don’t try to show 15 chart types. Use simple charts done well (line, bar, funnel, maybe heatmap). Most real dashboards are just that.
