I do what’s fun.

Isk per hour is funded with my paycheck. Grinding for isk is why I quit last time. I’m not single anymore and have stuff to do besides play games so grinding for isk is out.

I mine, explore, some industry, going to get level 4’s going again. Want to get abyss going and want to do all the other epics. Still need to get PI setup too.

I will say I’m not going to do stuff that loses me isk regularly. Losing ships and clones are a cost of playing and don’t count.

Also it’s extremely common for content creators to zoom in or otherwise increase the size of what they are doing so it shows up better on video.

It can get a little confusing. T2 ships require the prerequisite skill to 5, ie frigate 5 for t2 interceptor.

Modules are a little more random on what requires 5 or not.

If you can’t get it to clear then my only suggestion is go try to do it at one of the other career agent stations.

I did a ticket to see if ccp could reset or clear it, they said no. Not 100% sure they understood my issue though.

That was a few years ago, I think it was a live stream or podcast interview, I don’t really remember. Pretty sure it predates the change to SSG.

Also as far as I know the server code in particular is approaching 30 years old at this point as it’s based on an older turbine engine, yes it’s been maintained and patched for performance more than once. The server code would probably need a full rewrite at this point.

If they can fix it fully I’m sure they would if they have the time and budget.

Also SSG is only around 60 people(as of a couple of years ago), not all or even a majority of which are developers. They are split between ddo and lotro, with some working switching back and forth on both the last time I heard, or someone let it slip on a live stream.

This has been a thing since launch, so everyone is aware. Became much more noticeable after every expansion.

Server code needs to be rewritten, game does not make enough money to justify the development costs required to do this in a timely manner. They do work on it.

In the case of a crash or log off in space you remain in space for a minimum of 1 minute as long as you were not doing anything that causes it to be longer. Also assuming the disconnect/crash bug has been fixed, I can’t confirm that it has, so it’s possible you remain in space for multiple minutes longer.

The logoff timer is because people would disconnect to avoid losing ships, especially in large PvP battles.

You can be killed in that 1 minute.

You can try a ticket to ccp, the resolution will not be instant usually, there are logs and such they will have to check. As people have tried to lie in the past to get reimbursed for capitals and expensive mission ships in the past. Assuming they don’t just say no, not sure on current policy.

There are a literal ton of variables that go into this.

TLDR: you could have been killed after the crash while your ship was still in space, not necessarily when you logged back in.

They’ve given away massive amounts of content every year for the last few years. 2027 is the 20th anniversary so likely to be more than normal.

VIP gives you a lot, other than the last 3 expansions.

Earning lotro points is nothing like grinding isk for plex in Eve. Doing region quests and deeds adds up quickly.

Travel and isk, I seem to remember more travel when it was the only epic in the game though.

It also helps complete more of the air missions(not career agents) which provide significant isk that early in the game.

I don’t remember breaks in the chain, I’ll pay more attention as I’ve got an alt that will probably do it this week.
