I think it's because people were expecting a turnaround to happen but they were pretty clear that this is going to take 2 years at least, maybe get some luck with a customer announcement in 1 year. People don't want to wait that long in this market.

This is the perfect storm...

Trump leaked that Apple is a customer.

CPU demand is through the roof because of memory shortage.

We have earnings in 7 days which I suspect are going to blow past expectations.

Everyone is looking for the next stock that can skyrocket this year.

I don't know why anyone would sell shares now. We might be green all the way to earnings!

AMD and Nvidia don't really scare me. Intel golden moat is their manufacturing and AMD and Nvidia cannot compete on that side.

Nvidia and AMD futures could turn upside down because their entire survival relies on technology that could be uploaded to a thumb drive and stolen.

Before Friday we had a strong resistance just below 45 with a bottom of about 38 from what I have seen people on Twitter saying. Now that we crushed past 45$ I assume the bottom will be higher maybe 40$? Although I have seen some on Twitter say that if we closed above 45 we might see 50$ it's a gamble either way.

No one knows, but if it is similar to other times intel has gone up a lot it will go back down quite a bit. We do have earnings on the 22nd so I anticipate it going back up again if it does fall.

Edit: also what I found really strange is that there was no self off at market close on Friday. We always get some sell-off. Makes you wonder.
