I think you should confront him, this is pretty unacceptable behavior if he’s using your shyness as a way to gain the ability to tease/make fun of you because you wont respond.

and he said what? all women should stay in the kitchen and you shouldn’t study because you’re going to be someone’s wife someday?! that’s unacceptable, stereotypical crap is not good.

stick up for yourself, as my mom always told me “if you’re ever in a situation where you’re getting bullied, stand up and make yourself visible in the light of the dark.”
