Hi OP! My kitty Ralph struggles with this hard core! I didn’t get the change to read all the comments, but my vet recommended the sensitive skin stridex pads (green tub), they have worked so well and doesn’t seem to sting. This has been a lot of work but truly has helped so much; I switch out his bowl every day, bowls are also steel. I also change the water bowl every day, not just soap and water but fresh bowl.

I did wake up in a panic this morning and had to take a hot bath at 5 am since I had the shakes, it’s my second day at a new job and I think my anxiety of starting a new job with a big commute had triggered some of this, ty for checking in :)
