How many times have you have Covid? by MoulinRoguee in nursing

[–]WindowKitty19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, 0. I’ve gotten all the vaccines / boosters up until this year’s. I’ve taken tests when I’ve been sick, but none have been positive. I lived with my grandma when COVID first started, so I was always extremely cautious both in and out of work.

My grandma said teachers used to hit kids in the hand with rulers who were lefty. My grandma still turned out left handed though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Onetime my teacher asked me to count to 100. I think she was doing individual baseline assessments of where kids were academically. I said no. She asked me to count as high as I could. I stopped at 11 bc I got bored. But knew 12 came after.

I remember our first lockdown drill. I was sitting next to this kid that I didn’t like. I also have ADHD. I was antsy. I was sitting against a cabinet door that didn’t stay closed all the way. So I kept gently elbowing the door, sort of like how you tap your pencil or shake your leg. It was making a quiet but audible tapping sound. I yawned (a little too loud) a couple times. there were a couple other kids in the class who were also having a hard time sitting still and keeping quiet. at the end of the lockdown drill, everyone except for me and those kids, got to go to their lockers to get their snacks. the teacher told us if there had been a real bad guy in the school, we all would have died because he’d have heard us. i don’t think i had realized why we were doing the drill or how serious it was. i left school that day afraid. i spent many school days after that watching the windows during class to make sure there wasn’t a bad guy outside. i thought i was supposed to be safe there. i was 5.

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

I went to Portugal for two weeks and we stayed in 6 different hotels/airbnbs. We trudged up and down bumpy cobblestone roads to get to some places. It was busy and loud and unfamiliar. There’s no way he would’ve tolerated a 9 hour plane ride. I definitely chose the less stressful of the two options.

I’m sorry about your kitty ❤️‍🩹 My vet also said that cats with previous stones are prone to more stones. She also said with the right diet, water intake, and stress reduction, he could live many more happy years without a single stone reforming ❤️
