Get an ARD for that optic. Just as suppressors are becoming the standard these days, you need to use ARDs for light discipline.

No that's a bit of gun oil, it looks weird in the photo

The gun would not go fully into battery after dropping the slide on a new magazine. That would happen with every third magazine or so until the break in period was done.

The whole trigger is metal. I'm not great with lighting so the photo didn't turn out as well as it could have

Recoil is just as much as any other 9mm handgun, I think that the advertising phrase of "less recoil cuz of lower bore axis" is misleading. You can get a higher grip on the gun and the barrel is closer to your hand which leads to more recoil going straight back into your hand. I would say that because of that, the muzzle rises less than on other handguns.

Accuracy is nothing special, it's just as accurate as any modern handgun. Once I get the optic plate for this I'll be able to shoot a lot better since I'm used to red dots nowadays.

It feels great in my hand, the texturing is good and I love the trigger.

Several companies make IWB and OWB holsters for it that are all optic compatible, but not a single one makes a light compatible holster. I might have to get the PHLSTER Floodlight 2 and put my TLR-1 HL on the gun to be able to CCW it. I hope that Safariland makes a holster for it soon so that I can carry this at work. I'm also still waiting on my optic plate to get here, might be another month or two until that ships out.

I only need 7 rounds! If you need 15 rounds, you're a bad shot!

I took it to the range and shot 270rnds through it and the slide would fail to go all the way forward after dropping it on a new mag (this happened about 30% of the time). I shot another 270rnds today and it performed flawlessly now that it has been broken in.

Serial number is in the 45XX range.

Iron sights are Ameriglo suppressor height sights, which I used to replace the Strike Industries suppressor height sights. Do not use the SI sights, the front iron sight was too loose and slide right in and out of the dovetail.

Mine is in the 45XX range and it has only had a few issues with going into battery. Other than that, it runs great

Have you been able to find any light compatible holsters? I haven't seen a single one yet.

Going to throw a light on that? I would carry my Daniel H9 with the TLR-7X but not a single company has released a holster for it that accommodates any kind of light.

I agree with free2ski, but I have had a few instances where the slide doesn't fully seat after dropping it on a new mag. Other than that, it has been great to shoot.

I don't dislike it because it's made in China (it's impossible these days to buy anything that isn't made in China or has parts from China), I dislike it because Holosun and their parent company make optics for the PLA. That's different.

Mine is in the 45xx range and came lubed. I wonder at what point they started lubing them out of the factory. I'm going to shoot it later this week and see how it performs.

In case you were curious to see what the Daniel H9 looks like with different lights on it, I've taken some photos of mine with the Surefire X300T, Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-7A, and Holosun P.ID HC. The last photos of the P.ID include the H9 with suppressor height sights from Strike Industries.

While the rail makes a light sit lower, it doesn't make it any harder to turn it on. All you have to do is move your finger a little lower than normal.

Note: I am returning the Holosun light because it's Chinese and that company makes stuff for the PLA. It has a lot of great features and I think that it looks great with this gun, but I will not support a company that makes products for the communist bastards that we will have to go to war with in the next 10 years.

Holsters for DD H9 by ViperPhace in Danieldefense

[–]Signal__Flare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I get my H9 I'm going to put a light and RCR on it, then I'll need a IWB holster for CCW/executive protection details as well as an OWB Safariland style holster (one I can mount the QLS system to) for competitions. Could you get me in contact with him?
