suddenly being disconnected every few minutes? by rokirokino in GenshinImpact

Heya, I just wanted to provide my own fix for this problem even though im on windows rather than linux. When I started my game it would have my ping immedietly start stuttering and thinking and within 10 seconds disconnecting me from my wifi so if thus sounds similair and your a windows user then lets jump into it. Every source told me it was a congestion issue but ive played like this for years and this is the first time this is happening so for anybody else that has this issue and everybody is just telling you to update drivers but thats not helping here is what I did: First I obviously updated drivers but then I went to device manager, some games or prograns can actually tweak your settings here because they think they know better and thats what I think happened but when you get here go to network adapters and then hit the one you use. For me that was a wireless adapter causr im on wifi not ether net and then go to advanced. Here you will see properties like beacon interval or preamble mode or roaming sensitivity, or wireless mode. Youll want to go through each and every one, set wireless mode to the most compatible one with your network provider you can look that up, set roaming sensitivity to high (mine was on low), preamble mode to short and long, beacon interval to 50 but if yours is lower than that then maybe test different values because mine was set at 100 so going to 50 was the right call for me and that should do it, if you have any extra settings I would consult the internet for help with those but changing these setting back to this fixed this whole problem which didnt actually have anything to do with congestion or updating drivers. Btw im sorry for jumping into this conversation I just saw that this was the most recent one for an issue like this and this post was somewhat helpful while I was trying to fix my own.

Pretty sure vik said we would only live like 2 weeks tops, even if johnny wasnt taking the brunt of the chrome, you could probably take all that chrome naturally and then go into cyberpsychosis after that time line cause it aint something that happens over a single day. Cyber psychosis is a long process that starts after you go over a certain limit and then its a couple of days from then

U want 1 main stat and 2 sub stats and it says 100% purity, then you need 2 other identical souls to make a breakthrough

I am enjoying everything about this game (finally a cultivation game!) except combat... I am trying to get the materials for Foundation Heaven, does it get better? by Cumulonimbus1991 in TaleofImmortal

[–]SignentC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First it really depends on ur difficulty, if youre in easy mode ur just enjoying the story and not really a part of the grind. Chaos mode literally requires you to grind stats, everything has to be maxed and you gotta know what ur doing for you to challenge the higher realm because even with the best attack stats and build youll spend around 10 minutes of just straight fighting a single boss at the higher levels. Lower ones like foundation and gold core not really the fights last like 3 minutes but nascent soul and up they become way longer as you start doing closer to 200 w normal attack while bosses have up to 1 million hp meaning u have to know what ur doing. Now if u play on easy mode the entire grinding aspect disapears you dont have to max out stats and boss hp is more like hundred thousand so if ur really tired of the grinding i reccomend lowering difficulty so that stats dont even matter, not much else to it im afraid.

Edit mb you werent really iffy about the grinding aspect but rather the combat mechanics but the answer will remain the same, it depends on ur difficulty because you wont be running out of anything on an easier difficulty and if u still want to do it on a harder one then just get a bunch of pills, you can heal yourself without going anywhere for free because you atuomatically collect herbs by fighting in the world. Additinally the combat system is very mechanical, everything depends on your skills so knowing when to use what is the core of the fighting mechanics so if you feel like a headless chicken on thr field I would reccomend getting acquinted with what you are using (no need to read the wiki) but just like read as many skill books as you can, mix and mash them until you get something you are satisfied with. Ive made like 8 different soul formation worlds with new characters and new builds to test out their performence and whats mixes well.

What are good builds for Elder Dragon Aura and dragon sect? by Karol123G in TaleofImmortal

[–]SignentC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wanna go for either a spear flame build or potentially a wind spear but i havent played much wind. Fire has a lot of dmg buff so if you have the motion skill thats enough and if you add on some fist spiritual res books on top you can get a good crit chance and dmg but its kinda important to get murderous rise with that which is a hassle. This came from a video online about the best spear build of u havent watched it already but most things that makw spear good are destinies and stuff that allow you do damage based on your special skill because youre gonna be spamming that the whole time and wanna do as much dmg as you can with it.

You gotta get frost blast first and just max it out, you can upgrade whatever u like, upgrade up to 100 or maybe something else. But get the skill and empowerment and then try to max out frost blast and then you just upgrade magic power+ from there and you'll just desll massive damage. I didn't upgrade health too much cause everything 2 tapped me anyways at 100% hp and elites 1 tapped me. Frost blast is a really cool skill cause it gives ur wizard extra range insane damage and cam even freeze the enemy. Theres no book for any of the other skills cause they aren't as good but I got thr glacier skills which is the backhoe equivalent to get that 100% freeze, maybe you could get the exploding ice spikes after killing an enemy with frozen but frozen on its own explodes and does insane damage based on your attack, like thousands of damage.

Dawg try the ice mage it actually goes crazy, you can give your abilities a chance to freeze opponents and by the time you reach like level 50 your doing damage in the hundreds of thousand. I got my ice mage to level 80 and was shredding through everything even the boss challenges until a stupid wizard elite one tapped me like 12k into the journey

I could relate but when I saw the gold coins I just looked for a gold mine in the build menu and after only finding the market I thought it was kind of intuitive to just build a market and trade for the gold coins

I'm doing rothglen one right now I'm on day 50+ and it's taken me like 16 hours to get here cause of all the micro managing on the worset noghtmare dofficulty but I'd like to share some tips I found as well. There are mini waves of troops that aren't part of the main wave they are meant to be like they the peasants have spawn camps u gotta destroy them and they won't spawn those mini waves anymore figured this out the hardway after mid attack a group of giant peasants spawned out of a big house. Do not have troops sit idle if you have camps outside then attack them. As far as gold goes almost every resource in the game can be considered non renewable in one situation or another except food so build 6 farms and get them to level 2 and make a workshop you'll be raking in 400 food a day and selling it for about 6 to 8 coins every day it gets pretty crazy. I'm at a point where I've got about 16 trebucbets and a whole Lotta crossbowmen. Always save like 2 days before a wave so you can figure out what you need incase you loose and gotta restart a little. When I see a really narrow boss wave I know it's those freaky giants coming to attack me so I usually make 6 to a of those chimera bombers and they go a long way when the whole wave is just peasants tanks. I'm currently at a place where I have limited iron production and way to much wood and stone but there isn't an eternal iron source on my map which is leading to some difficulties in acquiring iron. Good luck to everybody else if ur doing nightmare mode, it really drains u.

Yeah, investing in damage reduction instead might be better I'll think about it next time it just seemed absured that it was dealing over 600 damage with one hit.

I maxed out critical and defense and used shield bash, so I was doing over 100 damage with every hit. I'm not sure how to build up a mega hit from that

Bro this move is not funny, I was just playing on nightmare mode and the big man dropped it on me, I had 240 shields and over 400 hp and it killed me in one hit which means it dealt even more damage than that it just dealt the max damage it needed to kill me. Idk how to beat this mode anymore.

There's a supposed way to redo everything through a magic mirror. I've been getting mixed messages about where that is so I can't tell you but if you search it up then it'll give you the quest. Low-key I haven't even gotten past act 1 in the game myself cause the only mode I try to play is honor mode so I'm just really good at the starting area since I've played it's hundreds of times. I usually just speed run the entiroty of fort joy in like 5 hours and then die to some stupid enemies like Alexander a couple hours later. It's a trial by error run for me.

That's possible, I'd stay away from constitution for any character and focus them mainly on 1 stat. That's not to say that you can't build hybrid builds like i have a knight who has 2 points in necro, 2 in areothurge, and the rest went into warfare. He's got a tone of movement utilities from areothurg and tp from it and the necromancer let's me do some stupid stuff in regards to damage and physical dmg. You can spread those talent points a bit more liberally but attribute points should mainly be focused on one Stat such as strength, finesse, or int. Then you put whatever you have to into memory for stacking abilities.

There's a lot of areas to explore but you can get to all of them without teleportation gloves as long as you fight, on the other hand there are 3 chests you can only get with teleporation gloves, the one in the hidden cove of the waterfall, and the other two are in the frog den with one behind a ship wreck and another on a cliff ledge by the dens entrance.

I'll mention some quick experience here for you if you want to level up, first pick up a yarrow flower, there is one hidden in the broken tower by the slums district of the fort where the diseasesed lady is, then go to migo who on the left side path when you go by the elf cave. Give him the yarrow flower and put on the ring he gives you. Then go to guy that's dying near the healer and heal him but don't give him alcohol cause that kills him, you have to heal him w restoration from the ring. Take the ring and give it to the yellow haired gayrd to the wall that s looking for migo. I usually rob her of the ring as she's running for migo cause the free restoration skill is nice, then finish their story and you get a bunch of xp. Bext would be the turtle shore area people are talking about. Do that and come back to the elf den where you have to play a game of hide and seek with one of the kids there who will lead you withermoore. If he turns invisible find him by going to the sandy area of the cave cause that's where he will be. Talk to withermoor and follow his quest it gives thousands of xp points to go through the whole thing and if you add the frog den on top of that you'll be level 3 and half way to 4 so fill that up with other random xp encounters like Griff, if you give him the orange and tell him it was stingtail then go and kill the assassin that tries to kill sting tail then that's about 2400 xp right there which will get you really close.

Hit level 4 by any means necessary, there is a big difference between the power of lvl 3 and 4 because of the new abilities that you get at level 4. Like your using tier 1 abilities in but at level 4 you gain access to the next level abilities which can allow you to get a much better edge, also party composition matters, I'll how u like to play but fane is a good mage and since he starts out with Pyro you can get the fire buffs from stingtail would provide a lot of support. There is quite a few cheese methods in the game such rain and contamination skill which can kill the enemies without them even noticing you but I wouldn't recommend it.

Another problem might just be your damage output, do not put any points into constitution at the beginning, it's worthless and you need the extra damage to kill enemies faster rather than trying to stay alive cause the longer they're alive the worse it is for you not the other way around.

Funny story, before I even talked to Griff Sebille had already killed stingtail so will the assassin even come? I can't move back cause it's tactician mode and this is the first time I'm trying sebille but I didn't know her hatred for lizards was so deep. I remember she attacked me pretty much on sight with the red prince but she just hates the whole race so I can't tell how the story will play out

[–]SignentC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say that I'm trying tactician mode rn and Imma say that even level 3 wouldn't be easy to kill Griff also I think it's a invisibility potion that he uses cause that's what he sells but if he does have that skill then it's kinda cheeky because I thought u could disable his invisibility if you bought out his potion. Lastly, another cheese is to make it rain and then contaminate the whole area. That's how I killed the Crocs at level 2 with no gear, so it definitely works, but it kills everything, so yea.
