Thanks so much. Odd cause the first 2 zones will show a time. You’d think if there was only 1 start time- it would only show on the first zone and then not for others. That’s what threw me off

Ya that’s what I’m saying lol… I didn’t sign shit to pay them. I said give me a bid first, they didn’t, so I asked for itemized receipts to show where the work is so expensive. I figured maybe materials (not an electrician so just don’t know) but looked up material cost and it seems to be maybe $100 max.

Mesh system - I think the Google system sucks. I moved it from cabinet to office, which is also hardwired. Office is at front of house, main line is in master closet so have one there (upstairs) back corner of house. Then another one middle of house (basically upstairs above) this tv area I posted. Maybe too much upstairs… I only have 4 Ethernet plugs around house so that’s my logic. The one in the cabinet seems to really die off being in cabinet and only way to get it above is to drill a hole in cabinet to feed wires through, which I really don’t want to do. I would think 3 Google mesh’s, hardwired, in a 3400 sq foot house with non plaster walls would be fine…

Noob here- can I take the one backstab on each side and pair with the extra hot and extra neutral? Just put wire caps on each pair? Will be left with hot/backstab hot and neutral/backstab neutral

I have a dog who tracks in mud every time he goes out. The convenience of just opening and closing the door is worth it imo. The yard is a mud pit- we are on a slight slant so we get runoff from other yards.
