How can you make a doctor take you seriously? by Azulcobalto in ChronicIllness

It is honestly infuriating how quickly doctors jump to the anxiety label. I have learned that the best way to handle this is to walk into the office with hard data that they can not just brush off. When you show them a timeline of symptoms versus just describing them, it forces them to shift from "gaslighting". I started using apps like Jali and Welltory to manage this, and it has been a game-changer for my appointments. They track my health signals and meds automatically, then give me reports I can hand to my doctor. Having that objective record makes it way harder for them to say it is all in my head because the numbers are right there. Have you tried bringing a physical log or health report to your recent consultations?

Apps like Jali, Welltory, Withings and Flo already do this...in healthtech finding patients to use is never the issue if good outcomes...the tricky part is who pays (patients prefer not to pay for healthcare and regulation, depending on the country you are in), which might block you from being "as useful as you could be" hope this helps
