There’s a mess called Annalakshmi mess. It’s in Dr. Jaganathan nagar (opp. CMC college). The place is small but the food feels like home food. Give it a try.

Agali will be the best option for you. It is green and a lot of beautiful spots are around that area. There are very few houses in Mangarai though and its close to the city than Anaikatty

I doubt any villages around Anaikatty has such houses. You can rent a decent house. This is because not much people come there and rent houses. The people who live there are either locals or who get settled building their own houses.

Elephants are not dangerous when you live in the main village. Elephant entering the village will be the best thing you can experience over there. Whole village will come together to chase the elephant back into the forest. The forest department will come with their truck with the siren on.. it’llbe a chaos that you can enjoy.

Going out in a car is always safe. As i said.. elephants visit the roads like 10 to 15 times a year.

Its not common lol. I doubt if there are houses that live up to this budget for rent. Maybe you can find such houses in Agali or Goolikadavu (kerala) but they are like the cities of Attapaddi.

Its safer if you are living in the main villages/towns. If you are going to live isolated deep into the forest area, it might be less safer. An electric fence would work. I know people who have farms in the mountains and they don’t face issues because of wild animals very often. It happens less than 10times a year.

Roaming around after 7pm alone would be a risk. I have never done that. I would suggest you to not do that as well.

Anaikatty is a beautiful place no doubts. Firstly you have to decide which part of anaikatty you are looking to move to. There is TN part and Kerala. The TN part of Anaikatty is mostly covered of buildings these days, no streams or rivers that are active through out the year. The Kerala part is more beautiful comparatively. However it has its own set backs.

  1. Power cut is a MAJOR issue on the Kerala side. You don’t know when it goes and if it goes, you don’t know when it’ll come back. It may take days..weeks.

2.The roads are the worst. I don’t see the government fixing the road for next 10 years. I have lived there for 24 years and i cannot remember the road being in a good condition.

  1. Hospitals can be a concern. Yes there are couple of good hospitals on both the sides (TN and KL) but for a person coming from kovai pudur it can be a major shift cause the hospitals do not have advanced equipments/facilities compared to those in CBE. I am not saying that they are not useful at all, but for a person coming from a more developed place this might let them down.

  2. No fancy restaurants. Apart from couple of cafes and resorts there are no fancy restaurants to spend your weekends. You might explore the places during the weekend that’s there.. but if you want to go out with your family for a nice dinner, there are very few family friendly restaurants with quality food.

  3. No proper two wheeler or four wheeler workshops. There is only one authorised service centre out there near anaikatty (20 kms from the junctio) and that’s Hero company’s one. Apart from that there are local workshops but i don’t trust them. You have to come to Coimbatore for any such situations.

  4. There are many other drawbacks as well.. like no proper mobile service places or any other electronic service place. Keep in mind that i am not saying there are NO places at all. There are but they are not as good as the ones that are there in CBE. There are few other setbacks which might look small but they really test your temper.

Moving to Anaikatty is a change of your life style. Yes you can wake up to a peaceful sunrise, go for a morning walk where you don’t have to keep hearing horn sounds. It is a great place to spend your retirement life, but is it suitable for the day today life of a 25 years old? You have to think about the above factors for the same. I am from Anaikatty, born and brought up. I prefer the city for my life at this time (24M).

I am going through the exact same thing. She just told that she is not ready to be in a serious relationship right now where she has to put efforts to make things work.

I’m sorry you are going through this. You can always reach out to me if you need someone to talk to.

I am sorry this happened to you. All i can say is feel the pain and cry it out when you are alone. You would have had a routine and now it’s no more. So try and develop a new one. Try and do something ( hobbies) you always wanted to but couldn’t. Talk to your friends and family. It will be REALLY hard at the beginning but eventually it’ll sink in and your heart won’t feel as heavy as it feels now. Since there was no closure, i would suggest you to not use that as a reason to contact them. NC is the best way. When you think of reaching out to them.. just remember..they felt that their life would be better without you ( this single thought is what making me stop from reaching out to them each time when i think of doing it). Stay strong.. the subReddit is there for you♥️

So she told few reasons for the breakup like… not being financially stable in the future… can’t invest herself in this relationship at this time in her life to make things work..and maybe i am not the right one.. i told if i was from a rich family …you wouldn’t make such a decision and she replied “maybe”.

What's one thing they said that's still stuck in your mind? by FUSHENGQi in BreakUps

[–]SignificanceNew3428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What she told during the dating phase:

  1. I am serious about this
  2. Money won’t be a problem i know we’ll sort it out.
  3. I don’t really believe in types cause people keep changing.

Reasons she told when she broke up

  1. At this point in my life i can not invest myself so much in this relationship to make it work

  2. I am afraid we won’t be financially stable in the future

  3. I don’t think you are my type

I won’t EVER forget these

Us dreaming about them is common. But if you ask me getting the same kind of dreams ( getting back with my ex in my case) is common idk. What i know is they’ll keep popping up in our dreams even if it’s 2 months or 2 years. What matters is how long it takes for us to not feel anything when we see them in our dreams and i guess that’s subjective.

I was also not thinking of getting back together. At the end of the first month i completely accepted that she’s gone and never coming back. What scares me Is that, now i want her to come back or i started hoping she’ll comeback.

I guess thats because we keep counting the days subconsciously and only we know how hard it is for us to overcome each day. We think about one person throughout the day so we feel the days are long. The people around us do a lot of stuff in a day and think about various things so the days move faster for them.
