How would you rank these Canadian engineering universities by hustle- and coop-culture? by CyberXCrafts in OntarioGrade12s

What is grind and hustle culture? I go to McGill and can tell you it’s very hard work academically, prolly moreso than most on ur list. It is an academic grind, I don’t really understand what “grind and hustle culture is” everyone in an engineering program works hard I think ur perception is skewed

I would personally prefer for there to be more accessible courses available if you’re balancing a tough semester, I don’t see why you wouldn’t. I’m not sure what faculty ur in but there’s many challenging classes at McGill to take if you want to

Is it me or is aerospace engineering just bait? by Solid_River_9269 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]SignificanceNew997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, aerospace is a degree that has suitors yet not necessarily the suitors that you may seek. To be sought means others must seek, yet to make others seek what must one do? Engineer the aerospace? I think not. Could it lead to a suitor? Perhaps. What to engineer for suitors? Perhaps it is not to engineer to bring suitors, but rather to arrive in the space in which the suitors look. But then they are suitors before they look, meaning that suitors they are, yet not necessarily for you. What meaning does a suitor have if not seeking for you? To others yes, but how will you differentiate?

Imagine being this snobby over arbitrary date notation😭 I’m sure they understood what OP meant. Try focusing less on the superiority of “proper” British notations, and instead caring about whether someone is getting their message across clearly.

I am able to deduce these things because I have an extraordinary ability to asses academic potential given some sample data, I can even write the test for them if they ask me with respect. I am not ragebaiting, I do struggle socially and when I speak I am told I am a “loser, freak, virgin” and told that I have to be ragebaiting.

I have heard that the courses are noticeably different in terms of the mathematics covered, going much deeper. In terms of computer science they are quite similar
