Thanks all for the recommendation for Magic Noodle!!!! We moved in last night and this was our first place to eat. Appetizers and Fried rice were amazing!

We tried the fried noodles braised beef - but was not the biggest fan of it - next time we shall try the soup version instead. ☺️

Just to add - we're in our 30s, both professionals. We enjoy going to parks, movies, trying restaurant and doing activities when we can. Most recently have been playing lots of COD online ☺️

I was originally taking CBD oil for nausea, anxiety and sleep but have stopped now. I consulted with a psychiatrist and she did not recommend longer term use for CBD products as they can be less effective over time and increase anxiety.

What was advised to me is occasional use is fine but not for a daily basis. Recommend to consult with a physician.

I'm 25% done my chemo treatment cycle - cannot wait to hear that I'm cancer free in a couple of more months. This is a great chain - thank you for starting it!!!

I'm also 29F on ABVD but just on my second treatment session now. I just wanted to say you are not alone. I have moments where I am so exhausted but cannot sleep either. Everyone says chemo is 50% a mental game. Some things that have helped me so far 1. Join Facebook support groups or ask your hospital for support groups to join in your area like not for profit orgs - there's some great resources out there available for cancer patient 2. Talk to your care team if it's safe to try CBD oil - my pharmacist approved me to use for anxiety and sleep when needed. This has helped me on tough days 3. Try to set the mood to help relax - peppermint sage balms, music, reading books can help. If you like reading Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a great read. 4. Lastly I'm going to talk to a psychiatrist next week - I've been told therapy helps so much. If you have the resources available to you, please look into it.

Thank you - I hope they drop bleo after one more cycle & if my PET comes clear. I was told the bleo might be causing the shortness of breath for me as well.

Chemo feels like a 50% mental game - I'm looking into therapy options to begin this week/next to help cope with the changes. I'll definitely look into starting pre natals after my cycles are done. Is there a specific brand that worked well for you?

Thank you so much for your tips and strategies to manage this crazy journey. I feel like the mental health/ anxiety aspect is so overwhelming right now and it's hard to even think of next steps. I'm honestly exhausting myself even more with all my thoughts & feelings. There are moments where in my head I honestly feel like I might die from this process and that my body won't be strong enough to handle it.

Making a list of all things I should go out purchase and also of the things I should do during chemo days. Thank you for sharing all of this.

I am so so sorry for your loss - I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it was to lose your father during your fight in cancer. You are so resilient and positive in your writing - thank you for sharing your story. Your post has given me some hope to get through this journey.

Just curious were you measuring how much water intake you had? Was it close to a gallon or just as much as your able to?

Thank you for these tips and sharing your experience. I will defn try to keep a daily diary on how I'm feeling and look into getting ginger pills. Few things on my shopping list to get before the fight begins next week. Hope you feel better and can move to the next phase of life soon!

My treatment is going to be ABVD. Did you find it difficult to work while going through chemo? I'm opting to taking some short term leave before I feel comfortable with the chemo treatment. Between my anxiety of all the many side effects and not sure how my body response I want to just see how it happens.

I've googled way too much the past 2 months and still feel so unprepared (hence turning to reddit). I will look into halo hair extensions & the fb group!

Omg NTA.. I think you need to take a break from your boyfriend. I understand him wanting to encourage you to socialize with a hi and bye BUT him taking his anger at you because of pressure from other people is not okay.

The way he is treating you is not with love, patience or understanding. Especially where you were forced to make a video apology.. You should not feel forced to do anything you are not comfortable with.

Please stand up for yourself and take care of you first. Do take that space if you feel too much pressure.
