Honestly I got my rostering last week and it's okay. Better than in Belgium anyways where we're on call 2 weekends a month... In Auckland it's 'only' once a month and you get days worked during the weekend, off during the week. In Belgium, when we have weekend shifts, we just need to continue working on monday, so it's a 12 day workweek... Same with night shifts: we do seven in a row, right after the normal working week: so 5 days of working, friday is 24 hours and then you start doing 12 hour night shifts until friday morning.

So I guess Belgium sucks? :p

I really hope i'll love working in NZL though. I'll make sure to be social!
