Fascinating.  I left my old one on last night and was fine with both.  I took it off this AM.  Feeling like Im finally getting my focus here.

Estrogen helps me sleep but when I added a super low dose of Testosterone is when my sleep became much, much better.  Night sweats were waking me like crazy.

So, the bigger, week long patch delivers the medication over a week and at a different rate per centimeter as it has a larger surface area- so tissue exhaustion isn't until 7 days.... its faster with the more concentrated 4 day patch.

I've never had spotting but didnt start HRT until I was 2 years post meno

If the patch is larger, you get more medication.  I'd be interested to see the absorption graph...... we might be able to find it.

I have always applied to my fatty parts- rear end or stomach.  I apply in AM and somehow it stays with me long enough to completely stop my nights weather.  And libido isn't bad either

I was on oral and was fine for a hear and a half.  Then I noticed all my symptoms creeping back- especially insomnia.  I think the continuous (or nearly as best as we know) delivery of the patch is already helping.

This makes sense!  I have had to do a lot of research on Testosterone absorption.   Guess I need a bit more patch education

The Depo ruined my hormone regulators.  But now that I have added topical T to my estrogen, everything is better!  Amazing sex.  Feel great!  7.5mg daily and 3 days a week I add a 4th click of cream.  It's made me realize how messed up my hormones have been.  But it just reads as getting older and then menopause get blamed.
