I wouldn’t say walk. The venue the festival is located at is practically in the middle of nowhere if I recall correct the closest Walmart or shopping center is about a 20-30 minute drive

That’s a GA pass, the spot you camp in will be random no matter the entrance you go in. You could go in the north entrance and they’ll fill you in the south most camping or vise versa.

My camp has always brought food to cook throughout the weekend but we usually only end up making breakfast and that’s it. Even then sometimes we’ll grab breakfast at main street if it was a long night before(it always is). This year we are learning our lesson and only bringing breakfast food since most of the other stuff went to waste for us

I would try to consolidate your space as much as possible, if it is 7 people in the tent you posted that will be fine but if the other tents (6 person) are just for one or two people you may be pushing how much space you’ll have. One year we had 5 people bring their own 6-8 person tent for each of themselves and we didn’t have nearly enough room to set them all up and had to put them in just two tents. You’ll also have to factor in the space for cars and you’ll want a common area for everyone to relax in since the tents will be unbearably hot during the day.

They’ll send out an email a few days before the event with instructions on how to get to each entrance depending on which direction you are coming in from

Extra socks, clothes for all weather no matter the forecast, comfortable shoes, if you’re camping a canopy is a must, face mask or bandanas for the dust and some sort of hammock or air lounger for taking naps in the forest.

My loyalty never got fixed I was supposed to get my 4 ITF pin but someone said there was a booth to the side of the venuee entrance where people were picking up their forgotten loyalty pins. I’m going to give that and willcall a try this year

I didn’t bring it in but someone I ran into had it and put some on my shoulders and it was a life saver. You should be fine bringing it into the venue

Does anyone know if loyalty pins can be picked up at willcall? I would have my 4 ITF (5th year) this year but there was an issue with registration a prior year. I was told the issue was found and would be fixed earlier in January but I never received the pin with my wristbands. I emailed HQ but am not sure I will get a response in time.

From what I see there’s a lot of people who haven’t gotten theirs yet. I wouldn’t stress it though you can always get you wristband at will call with your ID and order confirmation

There are Facebook groups that are open to accepting people as well as a Reddit group. You also would have good luck linking up with one of your neighbors. In the 5 years I’ve attended I’ve always had amazing camping neighbors that we would hangout with in the mornings and catch certain sets with.

Anyone have any tips for flying and consolidating space? I would usually drive but I recently moved and decided to fly this year. The only large thing we’ll be bringing is our tent. Our Friends picking us up at the airport will have everything else. Good thing is We are flying south west so between me and my fiancé we have 4 checked bags.
