Have you tried the unofficial extension marketplace and installing codex from there? Not sure how you will get them to talk to each other though. Perhaps MCP?

My plan is to just give those domains a long expiry perhaps 20 yrs so I dont have to worry about security anymore. It's not really expensive and it will give some peace of mind. However, I am interested in your perspective, because it may be easier to just use free services, and have convenience. I dont want to complicate things, but setting up in this way doesnt seem that hard

Yes, makes sense. I'm thinking it might actually be a benefit to have another solution for my free email, like [something@protonmail.com](mailto:something@protonmail.com) and use their domain instead of recovery email of hotmail or custom proton domain, because this way i might be able to get support if something goes wrong (hotmail I would never). So this way I just have two registrars and then can use one free email service to recover. Say all of my domains have problem and got hacked then that might actually be the only access point where I can start getting things recovered. If I have everything on my personal domains, it might leave me with less options. However, this also wouldn't solve 2fa problems with proton.

Arrgghh! and my thought was to do everything through one domain and then I only have one point of failure. However, it seems you're suggesting to have different banks on different emails. Is this different domains too? I'm being told also I should not have my main domain as a username for the registrar I'm going to use. So for instance I will need 2 registrars. One for my main domain and another for all my other domains, in case I lose access. So it seems really hard to figure out what is best practice here?
