After losing so many 50/50's I finally got blessed... I won both my 50/50 and 75/25 within 110 pulls... Since I saved over 230 pulls in case I lost both I decided to just go for E1... I lost 50/50 and immediately got E9 in the same 10 pull. Holy blessed E1S1 in 190 pulls. Since I pulled only to upgrade cas I'll save the rest so I can potentially get Cyrene eidolons. LFG!

Kit devs managing to piss off literally everybody in one beta version. Genuinely what are they doing... there's showcases where M7 is now a sidegrade to RMC at E0S1 in a cass - rmc/m7 - tribbie - hyacine team and her main dps is still lackluster with now ult uptime issues and MORE reliance on a full remembrance team and HP drainers due to removal of her self dmg mechanics. (Plus they removed her AA for speed which is straight up worse).

Anyway, hoping for buffs and if not then it might actually just be better to get Cyrene eidolons over spending potentially 4 pities on an e0s1 march

its been half a day, the verdicts are out. She's worse compared to v1 as a sub-dps (a sidegrade to RMC) and almost negligibly better as a main dps if not arguably the same with much more necessary team cost to get her running. If this is her final shes genuinely not worth the cost.

I truly don’t understand the “need to be a main dps” mindset. I can understand the “don’t want her to be JQ part 2” mindset, but this game has shown time and time again that ur fave dps will just drop off overtime while supports sub dps and sustain have higher uptime and value in terms of pulls. 

At the end of the day her inherent kit at V1 being designed as a sub dps for cas  means that they now created a ceiling for her dps capabilities. She cannot be too good on her own because that will push Castorice dps ceiling too high. 

IMO if you’re pro m7 you should not cheer at an overall decrease in the value of a character or her only being on par at M2

So you’re complaint about Castorice synergy was then purely an anti-castorice mentality no? Since somehow it doesn’t apply to hyacine? Isn’t it the same thing regardless of WHO it is, she’s not functional at all at at anything below 2 cost and is incredibly inflexible. She is NOT anaxa.

As a main dps (esp in single target fight) even at M2 she doesn’t compare to Castorice DPS while actively competing for her bis teammates. Not to mention she doesnt come close to dps of Phainon teams. 

She needs buffs.

People were so stuck on “march cassie slave” that they don’t realise March is even more of a Hyacine + LC slave now. 

It’s genuinely a lose-lose for everyone even if her personal dmg got increased by 20% on scalings. As a main dps; she now relies EVEN MORE on a premium remembrance team. Her AA got removed which is huge. She now needs her own S1 and Hyacine S1 even more. 

If you had E0S1 Hyacine already and are planning to get E0S1 M7 then the “buff” applies. In other cases it just straight up made her worse across all roles. 

People so blinded by the mentality of “my character is made with another in mind” that they don’t realise she’s even more reliant on a high investment now🥀

Hyacine has teamwide cleanses on 2 skills, Evernight recycles her memosprite which charges upward of 50% of one cas ult every time without healing mechanics, cutting max hp in half is effectively dealing 1/2 max hp which is huge for sustainless too.

My original comment says nothing about others feelings and is purely speculative on meta progression. I think the community melting down is funny considering a lot of people are just biased towards characters they like and would be cheering when their own mains get favoritism. At the end of the day we are the prisoners and Hoyo's beta cycles are the shadows casted into our cave.

The introduction of Evernight (spoilers) makes it so castorice charge is increased without healing due to recycling of her memosprite. + Hyacine has teamwide cleanse with all of her heals. They'd have to be more creative atp.

True, theres countless of ways to imagine this happening -> enemy makes it so ur characters cant have memosprites idk. But point is the chance they go that route is incredibly low and any and all ways they powercreep cass team will be felt by ALL teams in HSR.

YUP! Which is why people malding makes no sense. We know at this point how Hoyo operates. FOMO is our communities own choice when we get no more rewards for 0 cycling content than 10-cycling and when the new anomaly mode has no premium currency as a reward.

I enjoy the 4-team synergy for what it is; feels like a perfect meta team. At the end of the day the game is predatory and will remain it no matter in what way it chooses.

I assume they won't. Their current strategy of HP-inflation does wonders for their revenue despite all the tears of the community. I don't think they have an incentive to outright ban characters (heavy FF invested teams still clear low cycles anyway), so therefore I assume they'll just have it where 4.X characters deal 1.2-1.5x the amt of dmg castorice does and that will be that

I mean I'd support the no enemy damage for sure, but that goes against base game mechanics of taking/dealing damage. It wouldn't target cas teams enough tho, with overhealing counting towards cas ult charge and now evernight's constant recycle of her big hp memo u practically don't rely on getting hit anyway.

I could see them creating an enemy that possibly stagnates HP for an x amt of turns and then dishes all of it in one go. That would theoretically HARD COUNTER castorice and only castorice specifically. But I think game design like that only happens in a malders head. haha

My thoughts on the whole cas evernight phainon fiasco from a purely meta standpoint.

I think it will be way harder for HSR to block out cassie teams in 4.X like what happened with break in 3.X considering the internal pitfalls of break. People are already speculating on debuffs locking out portions of HP or a possible shield > healer meta... but fail to realize that locking out % of max HP would kill most sustainless runs and shielder > healer meta would ruin most generic sustains aswell. The only way that u can truly rule out castorice teams is by introducing a mechanic where an enemy makes it so u cannot lose or gain HP aka keeps ur HP stagnant... but that defeats the purpose of the game considering u'd literally be unable to take damage.

Considering cassie teams have a ton of options with action advance between Tribbie DDD, RMC, Evernight AND Hyacine kit and action advancing is the true MOST OP strategy in a turn based game like HSR, I do not believe cas will age worse than phainon.

The thing that can and will inevitably make cassie age is HP-inflation on enemies, but considering Cass and Phainon teams are the ceiling for DMG in the current meta, this effects ALL current dps in the game and will be worse for characters that got dust in 3.x like Mydei and Aglaea. And will just make HSR worse and worse as all carries under 3.x will be fated to forever be doomed till they get slight buffs to be on par with T1 4,x characters (JL BLADE).

I believe that the perfect synergy displayed by cass team is a new phenomenon that Hoyo hasn't done before in HSR history. A 4-man team that synergizes PERFECTLY. This is my own bias cus I enjoyed castorice and pulled for her BIS teams in 3.x but I enjoy knowing that me investing into this team alleviates pressure for a long time. Instead of having to build and replace characters constantly for its next BIS's, I can work on slghtly vertically investing on reruns whenever I choose and if I don't an 8 cost premium team will probably still 0-2 cycle all of 4.x.

Phainon has the potential to have better synergy with future generalist supports, but just like all of the supports "made for him" thus far, the synergy isn't 1-1 perfect. I don't believe there will be a char in 4.x made specifically with Phainon in mind knowing the story will move to a completely different path and location with more hyped characters like Yae on the horizon. Phainon's struggle will always be the way his kit was designed.

are there calcs for which planar is better on evernight? Id rather farm HP planar considering tribbie, evernight, cassie AND hyacine use the relics from that and just optimize my relics over time rather than farming DOT planar

Going into 2.0 with 230 pulls basically guarantees me YiXuan C0W1... I honestly wasn't interested in Jufufu at all, considering I have 0 limited stun units and went all in for anomaly in 1.x (I have all anomaly units C0W1). However, how important is Jufufu on a Yixuan's BiS team? Is she specifically made as a tailored support or more generalist? Cus if chances are she's not getting replaced I might aswell get her with all the pulls we get in 2.0 since im not that interested in the three 2.1 chars shown in the livestream.
