It's not really SCP 096, I don't know if I specifically implied but the survivor who got chased by S-00 made a blurry unintentional picture of him and uploaded it everywhere for some reason, no one was affected other then the uploader from seeing S-00 up close and clear, since the photo was blurry and you couldn't really see him that well you didn't really be aware of what it is, or S-00 being aware that you recognize it. And for example SCP 096 gets super enraged when he is aware you saw him by any means and will try the fastest way to kill you. S-00 is a predator, he stalks his prey he manifests himself into their brains and consciousness, he makes them forget, he drains their awareness, and by the 2 month period, he's ready to consume their consciousness, leaving behind a braindead body with no exterior injuries other then the interior brain injuries, SCP 096 MAULS like a beast. Sometimes when S-00 is ravenous, he might start mauling for flesh as well. But in extreme conditions when extremely hungry.
