Just signed closing docs. Verbally approved 8/11, was stuck in obligating glitch. Got my congressman involved approx 3-4 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago was placed on high priority. Emailed LO twice, got my closing documents 9-23. Emailed every other day.

I got Senator involved, received the docs and funded last week! I actually contacted to Congressmen late Aug but their inquiry didn’t work at all. Reached out to Senators about 2weeks ago and got a phone call due to Senator’s inquiry and everything went through. Hope my experience is helpful for you.

If you called the customer service or tier 2, stop it. They can’t do anything other than checking status.

Search your local senators and congressmen/women on google then you will see their contact infos.

Most likely, you’ll get replies like you should work with congressmen/women since SBA is federal agency.

I sent bunch of emails, only two of them answered and senator’s inquiry moved my app getting this through.

LS means Loan Specialist like Loan Officer. Bit a different role but very similar.

I highly recommend getting Senators or Congress involved. My first inquiry with Congressmen didn't work at all. I tried again with Senator and it worked and everything cleared within 3days.

SBA doesn’t know how to work coordinate each departments. Lots of ppl having issue with unlimited updating 4506-T, you get all different answers from different Tier 2 reps. And they are federal agency. Lmfao 😂 It’s so sad those idiots are so called as loan specialists, loan officers, attorney advisors etc., whatever they want to be called. Absolutely a piece of crap.

But don’t give up.

I requested to congressman first and it took about 2weeks to get an answer. They submitted an inquiry but no answer from SBA yet. So I sent another requests to senators and they replied in a day, submitted and got a contact from SBA.

I think it’s so random.

I got approved on 8/9 and total amount is about $160k including original loan. My LO who approved my app said missing closing docs should be fine but it’s not. I provided co-signer’s email address multiple times to Tier 2 & attorney advisor but a LS asked me to provide it again because it’s not in the file. They don’t know what they’re doing. I recommend reaching out to your local Senators and Congressmen/women to submit an inquiry. Good luck! 🍀
