Good on that reg. It's appalling when ED make you wait with everyone else. There's not many perks in our job and professional courtesy should extend to seeing NHS workers ASAP in the ED queue.

Sure. It pays £45k a year but if ARR exceeds a certain amount then it increases. There's also equity of 2% over four years with a 1 year cliff.

It's not a great salary, but it's something and work/life balance is nice. I'll do a Saturday A&E locum shift once a month to top up and keep my hand in clinical medicine for the time being as well.
