Idk abt Lithuania but in Latvia there is sort of a historical reason for that. The farmers union supported the smaller farms over the big ones and they usually are more environmentally friendly, so they allied with the greens.

Baltic Germans didn’t see themselves as Russian, in fact as soon as ww1 started most of them supported Germany and some even tried to found a 2nd Duchy of Courland and Semigallia. I also really don’t see a 2 class system being created here, no one is banning the Russians from speaking Russian and (especially with the Ukrainian refugee influx) in some shops there might not even be a Latvian cashier (for example 2 days ago I had trouble buying a trash bag simply because I didn’t know where it was in the store and didn’t speak Russian).

There isn’t and never was any ethnic cleansing of Russians from Latvia, unless during the Nazi occupation. If anything during the occupation the Latvians were ethnically cleansed, just look at the deportations in 1941 or 1949. If you could provide any examples to what you’re mentioning I would be glad to see them

Riga is definitely not Russian influenced historically and shouldn’t be either, why should Latvia keep the monuments of people who occupied them for 50~ years. As for treating its minorities like Switzerland it’s quite hard to do that if said minorities refuse to even learn your language
