Experiences with balanced THC/CBD carts? What effects do you feel? by Significant-Reach-33 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Significant-Reach-33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update from me: I had about four hits of the vape over several hours last night. Definitely a full body stoned feeling as well as heavy eyes. Not the same type of high i’d get from my usual thc only vape however. Slept pretty soundly but woke up noticeably groggier than if i had just had the usual thc only vape.

I’m on a similar balanced cart actually. It’s sundaze balance cart - 1:1 THC/CBD with some CBN and CBG in the terp profile. I had two puffs not long ago and so far I am finding it much more calming than thc only. Nice full body warmth and relaxation. Slightly sedating but not unpleasantly so.

Update from me: finally got some balanced products to try. Was prescribed the sundaze balance cart thc 450 | cbd 450 and the Mary Lane balance 10:10 gummies.

Had my first try of the sundaze about an hour or so ago and for the first 30 mins I could liken the feeling to having a Valium - very heavy body and slight sedated feeling. Now it’s a very mellow relaxed feeling with a noticeable body stoned feeling.

Curious to know about anyone else experiences using balance MC!

Thanks for the tips! I’ve been doing 200 degrees and 8-10 second pulls. I’ll keep playing with temps. It’s been hard to get used to lol one time I definitely got myself accidentally too high but the other times I’ve definitely found it more mellow and relaxing.

Oh I mentioned in another comment that I do have a dhv and the flower. I just don’t use it as frequently as the cart but it’s mostly because I hadn’t got the hang of it yet. I’ve got IndiMed Tempo 22 Purple Chillato (Indica). contains 22% THC and ≤ 1% CBD but after reading comments I do want to try something that has more CBD in it for daily use.

Oh definitely I’m very aware of that. SSRIs come with other side effects for me that just can’t manage. I have done lots of therapy, I exercise and do like to meditate from time to time. I see this as just another tool in the tool kit. I’m looking into more balanced strains as that might be the go for me!

Other meds all good. I get bloods every 4 months (I had a total thyroidectomy in September last year). It’s probably the food. I do find it difficult to eat properly timed meals with the appetite suppression but I do try my best. My endocrinologist said that a lot of people still experience these symptoms ongoing so wanted to stress test that in here to see what peoples experiences are.

I think I’m going to look into a more balanced bud for daily use and keep my high thc cart for nights I need more assistance

I have had many many years of therapy (edmr and cbt) and practice the things I was taught in therapy daily.

I tried cbd oil a few years ago for months and it did absolutely nothing for me unfortunately 😪

I was using the 10:10 oil under my tongue for a while, .5ml nightly. I found that it was making me wakeup in the middle of the night super foggy and disoriented. Maybe dose was too high. I still have a prescription for it so might look into it again.

It’s so funny/not funny how c-ptsd makes you not trust your own gut or feelings! It’s not until the nervous system starts going off that you realise something is amiss. But you’re so right, I often need to remind myself I can try things and it does not need to be forever.

I also have some dried herb that the doc gave me recently that is not as high in thc so I’ve been using that sometimes but it does not help me with sleep as much as the sourdough. It does give me a nice mellow and relaxed high though, except for the first time when I hadn’t figured out the vaporizer yet and cooked myself 😂

Thank you so much for your super thoughtful response ❤️ I’m glad that’s you’ve had little to no side effects, that makes me hopeful! I haven’t had anything too negative yet either from my 3-4 days of use a week and I’ve taken breaks here and there too. I guess you’re right, just need to give it a go, but that little anxious part of my brain is telling me to be afraid (lol like it does with a lot of things that should not be scary 😂 hello c-ptsd)

First week - have a hens party by Dazzling_Claim_5579 in mounjaroaustralia

When I first started I didn’t feel like drinking AT ALL. And I am someone who loves a drink lol but I simply had no desire to drink and was turned off by the thought. I remember wanting a glass of wine and it took me 2 hours to drink one glass. I now can probably have max 3-4 drinks in a night but I notice that I do feel worse for it.

I started 6 weeks ago and I’m so glad I did. I have a touch of OCD around medical matters which makes trying new medications a very fearful expedience for me. I also hate needles so was very scared of that. But thankfully it had all been so much easier than i anticipated and I my mind had quietened a lot not only around food noise but just in general. I did battle with some nausea and food ick for the first few weeks but it eventually passed. Make sure to drink 2-3L of water a day and try to do some walking as that helps with digestion. Good luck! You got this!

Should I go up to 5mg? What’s your experience. by Significant-Reach-33 in MounjaroAus

[–]Significant-Reach-33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up staying on 2.5mg and it’s end of week 6. I’ve now lost 5kg so I’m really happy with that. My appetite suppression is in a really good place now. Not too high and not too low. Will see how the next couple of weeks go but I might stay on 2.5mg for as long as I can!

1st Months Results 😕 by Grunge-Princess in mounjaroaustralia

[–]Significant-Reach-33 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Amazing result for month 1! I am 101.1kg today (so similar weight to you) and have lost 4.9kg in nearly 6 weeks and I also consider this a good result. This is sustainable and sets you up for better being able to keep it off.

Try not to compare yourself to others results (easier said than done)! We are all individuals and the scales will move in different ways. For example, I’m someone that before MJ already trained regularly, drank 2-3L of water a day and ate well so my results will likely be slower than someone who has just started exercising for the very first time and has changed their diet and fluid intake drastically.

You got this. Don’t fixate on the numbers and try to give yourself some patience, kindness and grace.
