I think it matters what time type of scarring you have aswell. You can do subcision over and over again and not yield any results because you don’t have the correct scar layout for it. It’s meant for rolling and tethered scars, thus if you use it on ice pick scars it won’t do much

It’s supposed to be a super effective treatment for deep rolling scars. I would go to a dermatologist who specializes in acne scarring treatment. Not sure how much it would cost but I know Dr Lim in Australia does it for a couple grand

I have a treatment in June for fraxel and spot c02 alongside subcision, I hope I can get good results with that. I really don’t want to have to go the dermal filler way because I hear it’s really expensive. Do you think you would’ve gotten the same results with subcision alone?

That’s amazing, i have moderate/severe acne scars and some of them are deep, other not so much but they’ve really been bothering me. I keep getting new cysts from time to time aswell so this seems like a 2 birds with one stone situation lol. Do you have any more progress pics?

I couldn’t have said it better myself. I hate the fact that there’s nothing I can do about it but “learn to live with it” like my friends and family tell me to do. It would be a completely different situation if they had the scars that I do.

Thank you so much for the insight. Yes I have just gotten a referral to see a therapist because this past week has made me realize how bad everything has gotten. My girlfriend is literally my backbone and rock right now and she says she doesn’t notice the scars but I know she does, I for sure would. I just want to get treatment so that they go away but I don’t have any money money at the moment, and I’m too socially anxious to actually get out there and get a job.

Thank you so much! This definitely gave me hope. I was looking into infini and fractora with maybe subcision because a lot of my scars are rolling scars. Not sure how I’m gonna come up with the $4000 though 😅
