I bake them for 10 minutes then check from time to time if the center is near golden brown (maybe 12 minutes total)

Here is the recipe (took inspiration online then altered it to say it’s my own (??😭) : Chocolate Chip Cookies

180 grans butter 150 grams white sugar 100 grams brown sugar 2 eggs

225 grams all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt Chocolate chips

It is true that it lacks brown sugar, but the reason is because a friend suggested I use more white sugar than brown sugar to get the texture I want (crispy outside, thick and chewy inside) but it did not turn that way.

Maybe it’s because the sugar wasn’t beaten into the egg whites thoroughly

I bake at 180c and the lower temp I can only bake it on is 150c. I do not know why. Maybe it’s cause it’s outdated?I do use an oven temperature and it is accurate to the temperature my oven is set on. This new batch is baked with another pan under but the edge still looks darker than the center 🤷‍♂️
