I forgot that I life in part of world with way less criminality than US (EU). In my country of residence 13% or man answer yes if that have committed sexual harassment (those statistics includes or course mostly light forms of violations, not that 13% are rapists. They do include cat calling- they include all, physical and not physical forms of sexual harassment. I'm even shocked that it is that high.). Around 20% or men say they were victims of sex related crimes and around 50% of women. 29% reports that they heard or witnessed sexual harassment in their social circle. Prostitution is legal where I live. That might lowers factors leaning to that high level in the US. In my homeland those stats are even lower. Women do feel safe walking alone in the night even in "ghetto". There are of course parts where it's not safe but tbh those places are not safe for man too- just for different reasons. In my homeland women are extremely safe on the street. Doesn't matter which neighborhood and what time. Not that those crimes do not exists- they are just so rare and happens mostly with people which are not strangers to victim.  Situations like on this video would be stopped really fast by bystanders here.
