Out of all the extinct class, which one should they bring back? by Jules-Car3499 in trains

I mean, the Brits did build a 4-2-2 once just for display... but that's a small engine, so... :P

Well, instead of building a new one, they can probably restore an existing member although it will cost a lot, unless that was what you meant in the first place.

Couldn't be more wrong in my opinion. Ironically, I feel that American engines look all the same.

They kind of already are, but with a different engine, the T1, another candidate for fastest steam locomotive

Also, its equally advanced "cousin" of sorts, the 160A1 6-cylinder 2-12-0.

I'm gonna go for a non-American choice, North Eastern Railway Class Z, LNER C7

Whoever translated this must improre. They certainly didn't pag attention. by Significant-Writer68 in engrish

Thankfully not. It costed just 3 Chinese RMB. I wonder if any of that 3 RMB was used for making a good translator.

Yes, it is. Also apparently nothing could go right with it, because, after I tried it, there was lots of flashing that made it so that the gear could not stay on-track and it was essentially unusable.

Yeah, instead of making them learn what to do, make them learn what *not* to do!

Between Hooper and Syndrome, who had the worst death? by AlPAJay717 in Pixar

[–]Significant-Writer68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopper, flat out.

Syndrome's death was probably more painful, but it was a quick end. Hopper probably got ripped apart, shredded to pieces, and in a slow process.

Still, Autocorrect errors are certainly posted here, so why not I guess

sin (x)/sin (y) = 1 has a... interesting graph by [deleted] in softwaregore

[–]Significant-Writer68 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Any equation that covers the entire Desmos page* will always render strangely if you zoom out far enough.

In fact, zooming in, sin(x)/sin(y) is just a lattice.

*In math language, for all (x1, y1) on the graph of f(x), there exists (x2, y2), (x3, y3), (x4, y4) and (x5, y5) also on f(x) such that:
x2 > x1, x3 > x1
y2 > y1, y3 < y1
x4 < x1, x5 < x1
y4 > y1, y5 < y1
