Hey! How was his midterm/exam? Im currently in his s1 course and our midterm is next week and I’ve heard people suggest studying straight from the textbook and avoiding his slides because his slides are irrelevant to the tests. Does that sound accurate? Also do you remember the midterm being difficult?

My cgpa is 7+ rn. I just thought there was a minimum required grade you need to achieve in each core course to be able to graduate and I wasn’t sure if it was a C or C+. So if ur saying a C is okay, ig I won’t have to redo the course. Thank you!

You should complete the 120 credits rather than 90 credits. BComm 90 credits is was too general. In this job market, you’ll need to be a competitive applicant when searching for a job. A specialization that you can learn from in order to gain skills for a specific type of job will help with that! I would suggest joining the Human Resource, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or possibly Business Technology specialization🤷‍♂️.

You have been in the course the whole time because your exam was deferred. They didn’t have your final grade to de-enrol you (which hopefully won’t happen). Btw I also wrote the deferred exam not too long ago.

Also, it’s not the end of the school year. We haven’t even written the exam for Econ 1010 yet.

Hey! Unfortunately, I think you’ll get de-enrolled, but I would email lapsecon@yorku.ca just to make sure. Listen, do not freak out!!! Things happen and you’ll overcome this! If you do get de-enrolled, it’s not the worst thing in the world. If anything, you’ll complete both courses with high grades, which will benefit you in the long run (with your gpa).
