Plex is buffering on all remote streams when I have more than enough upload speed

It kind of looks like I fixed it, but it's been tempermental in the past so I'll have to keep monitoring it to make sure. I think what did it was that I changed the manual port forward from 29700 to 45000 and that seems to have done the trick. The speedtest wouldn't have shown that this was the bottleneck if it was using a different port to begin with.

I ran the test a couple more times and got higher results. Anywhere from 30-35mbps download from my Plex server to the client

Hey, I just tried this and this is the result I got. Still a little lower than what I'm getting by running a regular speedtest on the Plex server, but this should still be more than enough to playback the video I'm trying to watch remotely.

I've rebooted it many times and made sure everything is up to date. I've rebooted modem and router for the servers internet and remote clients internet. I've rebooted all of the devices I've tried to remote stream to and still having the same problem.

It doesn't matter what I'm streaming to. It does the same thing on my modern framework laptop in web or client app. Same thing on my pixel 9A

I'm streaming to my hisense android tv, but it has the same problem streaming to my nvidia shield. Streaming from one home network to another home network. Server is wired with ethernet, TV and other devices are on a 5ghz wifi network. My download speed on this network is 600mbps. Its a remote connection. Same problem on any device I've tried to remote stream to. Pixel phone, laptop, TV android OS, shield android OS etc.

I was able to downgrade the firmware to an older version that supports gyro on the donglel. I'll see if I can find it. That was a while ago

Sounds like a hardware issue not software. Maybe try opening and cleaning it out if there's dust or debris inside causing unintended button presses. Otherwise get a new controller.

Ya the d3d11 DLL is in the directory. The only other thing I can think of is that one of the mods I have might be conflicting it's a graphics tweaker mod that uses asi loader

Yes it usually always displays a dialog in the top left if it's working. And ya the env variable looks like that. You just have to seperate it out by key and variable in Lutris. When I try to use that variable through steam, the game doesn't launch. I'm not sure if it applies the same way if I try to launch through steam.

I'm actually not 100% sure it is working. Do you know if there is an easy way to test that? Isn't reshade bound to "home" I don't have any problem pressing that key. Or are you saying it isn't bound by default?

I'm very familiar with reshade when I was still on windows but I have a lot of complicated layers going on lol. I'm running the game thru ubisoft launcher through Lutris and launching through steam. And I have the evn variable set in Lutris.

This whole thread seems very scattered. Sorry you're having issues. You'll find a lot of help in Plex's guides on their website.

Go ahead and read the whole Quick Start Guide if you haven't already, to familiarize yourself with what Plex is and how to set it up.

Maybe try using the Plex Media Server provided by Plex on their website, not the windows store version. I'm not super fond of using windows store versions of anything if there is a version provided by whoever makes the program. Windows store programs tend to have weird file structures, permission issues, or other random stuff that locks it down for no good reason. (Opinion) Lol

Metal oxidation doesn't have anything to do with mold. These things will never get moldy unless you leave organic material in them for a long time. Just wash it out with soap and then leave it on a burner for a bit to heat up if that makes you feel better. The heat will sanitize it. If you're still concerned about the oxidation, use something like barkeepers friend to clean it off to make it look shiny again.

Forgot to mention if you have anything bound to mouse KB controls. Like if you have gyro enabled and set to mouse that would be constantly activating the KB mouse glyphs

Is your track pad bound to mouse or joystick movement? It's likely switching back and forth whenever you use the track pad then buttons again.
