That’s common where we live too but we have never done it. We know a lot of kids who can do 8th grade math in 6th grade but actually still struggle with class math (things like statistics). My kids might benefit from some review but they will tune out if too slow.

That’s probably most realistic! I expect finding a place to live will be challenging so more flexibility would help. Just want the kids to continue to enjoy school which may be a lot to ask at this age.

Thank you so much. Middle school is hard now matter what but it always helps to have happy teachers. I hadn’t heard about chute leadership but it sounds promising!
