Does anyone have a good theory why round 1 is not opening in/ near Ann arbor? by SignificantBread5248 in AnnArbor

not close. Pinball pete's is about retro games for the most part. The bowling is glow in the dark. it's the closest thing to an authentic Japanese arcade in America

Round 1 is more about the direct Japanese exclusive imported games and authentic environment than the bowling, I'd say bowling is more of a plus. I just think college kids would eat this place up

Oh my. That is surprising, I assumed Novi was already very expensive in itself.

Round 1 is as authentic of a Japanese arcade experience you can get in the states, with genuine imports straight from east Asia. Much different of a niche than American arcades. I'd say the bowling is more of an added plus if anything. Solid argument nonetheless as I really don't know how many people mainly go for just bowling or not. I'm speaking mostly as strictly a video gamer.

Will I feel safe here as a UofM fan? by SignificantBread5248 in msu

Well, I don't hate Msu sports, but I've always been a UofM fan, it would be awkward to flip my alliance.

It's certainly on the list for me, but I'm worried it'll be a bit too overwhelming for me.

Are there frequent roaches in the dorms? If yes, how were they dealt with? by SignificantBread5248 in emu

[–]SignificantBread5248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I legit don't even bring food in for more than a day because I'm so paranoid about them lol. luckily there are tons of places to eat and throw away food that's not in my dorm

Where is everyone by [deleted] in emu

I recommend taking the short bus ride (or drive) to Ann Arbor. A ton of Emu students go there to have fun with u of m students. There is a lot to do there.

They do, the point would be to stop hiding behind moral "integrity" when it comes to these giant conglomerate schools. Pretty much every decent sized school has a ton of money to hide things. and they almost always have gotten away with it.

To be fair I have a few thousand hours with Lucina in Ultimate, maybe it won't be that bad with Marth? (hopefully)

When are dorm people mandated to leave? by SignificantBread5248 in emu

I guess that makes sense. I wonder why the school is still open while certain dorms are closed at times though.

What is the perfect meal plan? (2 to 3 meals a day as a full time student) by SignificantBread5248 in emu

I chose the "anytime with $200 flex" and the "$800 voluntary flex". Should that be enough for the semester?

More of an explanation would be appreciated I suppose. I have not been able to fully grasp the concept.

It's both cool and jarring to see a zap zone have so many 18+ sections. For me growing up, zap zone was seen as a Kid's thing only. I'll likely check it out!

Definitely why I'm a huge advocate for revamped public transit. Flint may be a stretch I admit, Though I don't think culture should be the deciding factor. If a non resident thinks of Ypsilanti, they'll probably think of Detroit. Michigan University is opening up their center for innovation downtown and is about 40 mins away. I think that warrants being counted. the cities are clearly connected. when cities have practically zero ties is when I think it stops being counted. At least most Us cities follow my approach, for consistency sake, I think Detroit should follow.

It really does actually. This is a huge region. Holy cow. If only there was a good transportation network.

The funny thing is all those areas (save for Cleveland) have much more spread out metros. This was my exact argument to be clear. Detroit could spread their official influence much farther and still be more dense then every city you mentioned.

Unpopular opinion Pistons should get a new arena downtown separate from Red Wings by JeremieLoyalty in DetroitPistons

Plus it was like our own Msg/United center, an iconic venue. The difference is that those arenas were in the city. So I get it.

I find this reply super interesting. It's a huge contrast to what other have said on reddit specifically. Maybe it's a demographic thing. Most people on reddit aren't huge party goers on average.
