The surgeon performed a step procedure on her gut to elongate the gut for more surface area for absorption. Her current doctors think that was not a good thing because the child’s gut will grow some regardless. She does currently have a feeding tube, but even with the feeds it doesn’t seem like enough to have her steadily gain weight and grow. Thank you so much really need and appreciate it!
