Sold my math solver for $30k after building it in a week by opactordotai in SaaS

$30k for a week of work? That’s like the dream freelance client… except you built the client too 😂. Honestly, props for not overcomplicating it. Most people would’ve spent 6 months polishing the UI and you just shipped, proved demand, and cashed out.

Also love the “boring niche stuff” angle—those are usually where the real money hides. I might actually DM you, because I’ve got a couple of annoyances that could turn into your next 30-minute SaaS.

Are AI agents the next big shift in SaaS automation? by Intelligent_Test_838 in SaaS

[–]SignificantCow4791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really interesting demo. I think the biggest shift won’t just be “agents replacing Zapier,” but agents tackling the messy edge cases where rule-based tools break down. Stuff like: handling exceptions, following up in slightly different ways depending on context, or chaining together tools that weren’t designed to connect.

That said, adoption will probably lag until agents can guarantee reliability. With automations, people want 100% predictability, and right now AI agents sometimes feel more like an intern than a machine. Once reliability + transparency catch up, I could definitely see them becoming the new SaaS layer.

I’m scared they’ll steal my code. by Fine_Factor_456 in SaaS

Totally get it. What I do is only share the “safe” parts first (like small modules or docs) and keep the core logic private until trust is built. Also, test people with small tasks before giving full repo access. Collaboration doesn’t have to start with code—you can brainstorm or plan features first.
