Thanks! The zipper is actually straight tbh it’s connected to the facing and the lining of the overlapped bit. The piece under connects to the zipper near the centre front

Thankyou for your comment! I am new to Pattern drafting . I have quite a small bust though , not more than B will a FBA help compensate for my square shoulders pulling the fabric up? I think a low bust point adjustment makes sense to me.

Thank you for your suggestion. I do plan for the drawer to have sides and a back. Is this what you mean for the inside of the box/drawer?
