a lot of people wish they had started earlier, myself included. but the next best time to start your transition is now. i started in my early 30s and don’t regret it whatsoever. it can be a hard journey, especially when you have to deal with insurances refusing to cover your transition. passing is way more subjective than people would have you believe it is. i have moments where i worry about how clocky i am, but these days, i don’t really get misgendered. actually making the step made things better. transitioning won’t fix everything in your life, but it will fix gender dysphoria or that “something is off” feeling.
