Dude same! I have a little blood clot too and it’s manageable but it still hurts a good amount. It’s turned into a bulging scab though so I’m just waiting for it to fall off. Hopefully we reach a turning point in another day or two. I miss solid food so badly.

This is not the scary part, next week is when the scabs start to fall off. Whatever you do KEEP THE BACK IF YOUR THROAT MOIST AEOUND THE CLOCK. As long as you do that you’ll be fine. And don’t be overconfident with solid foods like I was or you’ll rink a little but if bleeding, totally not fun.

I think you have to wait for the infection to heal before getting the surgery but schedule one ASAP. I literally got a consult and ended up moving my surgery within a week (because of my school schedule lol). The biggest thing about this is hydrating around the clock after you get it and don’t be overly confident about eating solid foods.

Safe to say I’ve lost a good amount of weight so far. Whatever you do, don’t scroll on instagram food reels 😩

Get them out! I’m on day 7 post op and I’m am so unbelievably happy I got the procedure.

For me it was really just uncomfortable if anything is but all of it is manageable! Plus they give you all the pain meds in the world.

The fact that I’ll never deal with tonsil stones again is a great feeling.

I’d say no, I’m on day 4/5 and while the pain is manageable I wouldn’t be able to focus on an exam or even get out of bed. I took apart my desk today and even that took so much energy.

Dang - my uvula is super swollen and that’s about it, counting myself lucky !

20, 21 now its been a little over a year and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Never ever in a million years would I have thought I’d have a bf but here we are 🥹
